Episode 445 Pursuers
a group of sand shinobi are following akatsuki when deidara hits them with a big bomb.
zetsu witnesses it while hidan complains about the damage to the bodies. kakuzu appears carrying 2 of sand shinobis bodies saying he will suit their purposes and the group departs.
battle betrween the retrieval squad and the anbu continues. Naruto snatches the mask off Anko who slips behind him and licks his face like she did in the chunin arc.
Shikamaru realizes and explains that theyre here to delay them from stopping sasuke insureing he reaches orochimaru. Shikamaru then orders a retreat grabbing Naruto by the scruff of the neck and dragging him away. Neji attempts to locate sasuke. he does and says they can still catch up.
Shikamaru drops back to tell Lee something after seeing the anbu in pursuit.
One of the anbu leaps forward and manages to wound tenten but the pursuers get away. as the anbu approach, Lee drops out of the trees and delays them. he holds his own but 3 of the anbu break off and go after Naruto and co. the last one Hayate intercepts lee keeping him from pursuing.
Lee admires his strength but hayate tells him hes not as strong as lee thinks he is but he intends to go all out anyways. Lee drops his weights in response. and opens the 5th gate
the akatsuki drop the two bodies off at the bounty broker who tells them that the bodies will suffice. they all go outside to meet with sasori who joins them. he complains about the akatuskis military might not being what it should be. they argue but sasori ends the argument saying that the akatsuki might not exist if not for the hizashin incedent and deidaras part in it.
a flashback insues of the jiraiaya trio returning the teddy bear to the village. as he goes down deidara flys overhead and grumbles how his art isn't useful for the experiment then in a fit of pique he drops his big bomb and vaporizes the village and yahiko as well. as Nagato grieves and konan tries to comfort him sasori appears and shows them one of minatos tri pronged kunai found in the village.
Sasori grins as nagato swears vengeance remembering the day nagato and konan stopped calling themselves team jiraiya and became akatsuki. he says events will start happening real soon.
In the hidden rain village Yahikos resurrected body with the rinnegan and pein studs says the village will know his pain.
Lee charges up as hayate uses the crescent moon style on him they clash. Naruto senses something but continues his pursuit voqing to really beat sasuke up for this nonsense.
Shikamaru sees the three pursuing him he asks tenten to delay one and she drops back to do so. engaging yugao who quickly has her on the defensive. yugao uses her moonlit night attack but tenten blocks it with a frying pan from her supply scroll.
the trio continues on with the anbu in pursuit as Sasuke sees orochimarus base ahead and says hell soon have power.
Orochimaru waiting for him licks his lips in anticipation.
