Ahem, yes, I was reading Avatar stuff. Oh course, my stupid memory now requires me to watch it all over again. Grrr...

I sort of remembered that I'd promised you a Zutara fic once, krisk, but you gave me the honourable mission of watching the series first. I WILL get around to writing that fic, I tell you!!

Ehehe, the highlight of my day today: getting hit in the head with a soccer ball. At first I thought I had been glomped by one of my friends, but I sort of had to rethink that when several people practically jumped on me and asked if I was okay. My friend often headbutts me, and I swear her head is harder than the ball

I also went shopping with my mum today and bought some stationary. I've been surviving the week with no pacer lead, a really, really crappy eraser, and zilch white-out. And then I saw these exercise books that I always buy for school. They have different animals on the cover, mostly marine, and I saw this polar bear book and... sort of squealed. Seeing the turtles made me squeal again. So Mum said I could buy them and use them next year. I'd better not misplace them now >.>

And my smiley ball! I love my new smiley ball. Mum said it looked like me with my braces XD

Fact: chocolate fondant is unbelievably delicious. My friend made some in her food tech class yesterday and it was sooooo yummy. Which is saying something, because, well, let's just say that she's not the best cook in the class. XD I'm on the lookout for more chocolate fondant now.

I handed in my geography assignment yesterday too. I actually started early for that one, and it still took me five days. Long reports = not fun. But now I'm freeeee! 8DD

I'm playing around with blogspot; I'm thinking about making a blog to keep my readers updated with my story progress. I've had a couple of people PMing me in the past few weeks. Of course, it's also another reason to procrastinate. I'm having too much fun configuring the site. I'm currently putting together a playlist I could embed. I'm learning loads about HTML codes and javascript. It should come in handy for my IST classes =D

Website design! I definitely need those lessons. I'm editing the codes blindly; just looking for what I think is relevant and altering it. I've been lucky so far and have managed to do what I set out to, but I'm going to need proper instruction on this. >.>

I just started up the blog yesterday, but it looks like it's pretty much done for now, so I guess it's alright for me to start linking to it. I cheer!! My Pokemon Pikachu is working again! =D

I know, fifteen years old and still playing around with that tiny boring thing. I dunno, I still like these gadgets. I'll get bored of it again soon, but let's just enjoy it while I'm still interested. My Pokemon Pikachu ran out of batteries... a looong time ago. Only recently did I think I might want to get it out and play again. Sometimes I get the urge to play something that isn't on the computer or DS, which is basically all I got. I broke pretty much all my Digimon Pendulums when I was younger. XD

I've only got a week of my holidays left. I wasted the first week writing down a super long oneshot for Naruto, then abandoned it when I realised it wasn't working out - might go back and do something with it another day. Big waste of my time, especially since I procrastinate so much.

Think I'm sick again... bit of the cough this time. Man, I get sick when I'm at home and on holidays, of all things!

It seems theres lots of cases of cough this winter here, me and Lisa was victim to it too. Its most likely coz this winter the weather is exceptionally dry. My advice would be to go to the doctor and get some antibiotic ASAP, Drink Vitamin C daily and drink lots of water. Lisa got the worst case as far as I know coz the cough was so bad that it scratched her voice box so now she can't even speak properly, I doubt you will want that to happen to you...

Hehe, I finally have something worth posting in this bloggy! I chose my subjects for Year 11 the other day! Difficult decisions galore. @_@

So I ended up choosing:
English Advanced
Mathematics
Information Processes and Technology
Information Technology
Physics
Economics
And my reserves were geography, biology and business studies.

I was worried that there wasn't going to be an IT class because everyone was doing IPT. IT is a VET course, which is basically some sort of TAFE course that you take during high school. You get a certificate of recognition for it, and since I'm quite certain that I'll be entering into the technology field, I'd like that certificate on my record.

There was a humongous debate between my friends and I over maths. There's general maths, 2 unit maths and 3 unit maths, 3 unit being the hardest. I was lost between 2 unit and 3 unit, but eventually decided on 2 unit. 3 unit was too hard, and I wasn't up to 9 days of maths per fortnight cycle. The same thing happened with English advanced and English extension, but I ended up choosing advanced. XD

It was quite funny the day we were handing in our forms:
Me: Heh, it'd be funny if Ms Deeb was away today. (We have to hand our forms to Ms Deeb, who is our year advisor)
Friend: That... is not funny. At all.
*walk up to social science staff room*
Note on door: Ms Deeb and Mr Ogilvie are absent today.
Friend: ... I am going to smack you.

So we ended up handing it in on the next day. Even though Ms Deeb was still away.

I wanna know if I got my classes and it's only been two days since I handed in the form! We won't know until next year, or late this year. I hope there isn't a clash in the timetable; that'd be really troublesome. I don't actually want to do any of my reserves, I put them there because they were the most appealing ones on the list. My geography teacher right now is overenthusiastic about senior geography. She really wants a geography class next year - at least she'll be satisfied.

We're starting to have careers interviews. My friends have already done it and they say it's nothing much; just talking about interests and subjects and stuff. I'm last on the list because they're going in alphabetical order. They're up to G today, so I guess mine will come on Thursday or Friday. My last name starts with a Y, of all letters.

Ah, sorry, Lee. XD My email didn't give me a notification of your pokity post and I've sort of been procrastinating a lot... I've kinda been missing from the forum for a bit because I was too lazy to log on and post. inotherwordsilurked >.>

But now let's break out of that habit! I miss chatting to you guys - especially now that a certain Gena-chan is back. :3

I'm on holidays right now. I finished my exams and the school gave us a few weeks early mark. I'm sitting at home getting fat while everyone else in my school is sitting through lessons. I've got summer break too, which means I've got a grand total of two months holidays!

I'm getting really bored though. I've been doing nothing so it's getting hard to get to sleep; too much energy. It was hell trying to fall asleep last night. I tried: listening to my iPod (I got a new one, btw!), sleeping on the other end of the bed, drinking water, sitting on the reclining couch in the living room, doing pushups, sleeping in my computer chair. And probably a few more that I can't remember. In the end I just crawled into bed and slept. XD

I'm hunting for a part time that I could do during the time and hopefully in my senior years as well. I'm planning to try a place I did work experience at. I loved working there. 8D I handed in my resume almost two weeks ago and I'm prepared to wait a while, since it's a large company. I'd hate to wait weeks and weeks just to get a no though. I should probably have a look at other places as a back up.

It's summer now and starting to get hot. The seasons this year are a bit messed up. It was super-hot in spring but strangely cooler in summer. o.o

LOL it's holidays for us too! Well, us college/university folks who have just finished final exams. The other kids don't get out till next week. And it's FREEZING cold for us while it's summer for you? lol I guess that's how the weather/seasons work when we're half way around the world...

As for the sleeping problems.. I haven't had any that bad since I've had summer vacation... XD I go to school during summers now so I'm always stuck with something to do... boo. You could try though... something warm to drink! Just not anything with caffeine... that's a big no no if you want to sleep heh. Either that or do what my mom suggest... cleaning the house *shivers* which I'm pretty sure you want to avoid haha.

What? How did I end up replying to this shout-out two months late!?!
I'm soooo sorry PB. You must have been sitting in front of your computer just WAITING for me to answer this entire time (well, you have a life so you probably wouldn't have done something pointless like that...but just let me pretend that you did and make myself feel like I was missed).

Like krissy said, sleep is what you need! Here is an (extended) version of what I do: (I used to have horrible insomnia and night-owl sleeping patterns, as you could tell because I was sending messages to you at 8p.m. YOUR TIME).

-Try to avoid watching any T.V. or looking at computer screens two hours before you go to sleep (somehow, doing these things makes your brain "wake up" more and can keep you up, on average, two hours later than you intended).

-Take a really nice, long, warm, skin-wrinkling bath and/or shower (I don't like baths personally, but some people do).

-Wrap your hair and yourself in a towel and just sit there in bed for a while with a book and/or decent reading material (but not too good, so that you don't want to keep reading), while putting on your favorite lotion, smelling something nice, or drinking tea (but try to avoid falling asleep that way...because I have done that before, and it's not the best thing to wake up on a soggy pillow).

-Get into your P.J.s or whatever (maybe dry your hair like I do) and make sure at least MOST of your tasks are done that might bother you when you're trying to get to sleep.

-After you feel like everything you need to do is done, start turning off your lights methodically, preferably with warm socks on so the cold floor doesn't wake you up again.

-Breath deeply (A breathing exercise I learned from a book: Count in your head while inhaling...1,2,3,4 and then exhale for the same amount of time...1,2,3,4. Concentrate on air coming in and out and try to make it where your stomach expands as you breathe instead of just your ribcage, like a singer does to get a really clear note).

-Think simple, but not philosophical, thoughts (and don't you DARE think about anything important).

-Now clear your mind of all things that have happened that day.

-Think "black" or just concentrate hard on your breathing. Allow your conscience to slip away (To remove any doubts: No, counting sheep has been scientifically proven to be an ineffective way to get to sleep. It just eventually bores people into light slumber).

-Make sure your sleep patterns stay reasonably consistent so that you're body clock stays on schedule, so that the process of sleeping and waking up will become easier.

-And listen to gena's really long bullet-point rant on how to get to sleep (I'm looking at how terribly long this is...and realizing how often I don't listen to my own advice...)

On a less motherly and overbearing note (I have good intentions, and I know how sleeplessness feels), is your vacation over?
If so...
If not, would it be terribly selfish if I suggested that you maybe...write a little? If I maybe...requested for some more "Only Human?" As sort of a celebration for my long delayed return?

I know, I'm sounding like Lee (but at least Lee is a nice person who is worthy of imitation).
