Terry Pratchett, one of the most popular fantasy authors and creator of the Discworld series, has passed away at the age of 66.  He died at home, surrounded by his family.

I'm sad that he's gone now, his books were just fantastic and would never fail to make me grin or give me food for thought.

Thanks for everything, Sir Terry!

It's sad news that accompanies me to start my activity today.

I like Discworld too! I like his Tiffany Aching series.

RIP Terry Pratchett!

My favourites were the books involving the City Watch, but I also liked the Tiffany Aching books.    I have read The Wee Free Men and I Shall Wear Midnight, but I somehow missed the other two books!  I shall correct that.

I have read The Wee Free Men (which I love so much since I like the wee men a lot!) and A Hat Full of Sky. I didn't see I Shall Wear Midnight copies here. I will buy it if I find it! Don't know if ISWM and one more books, that both of us forgot, are released here.

Ah, that sucks.

RIP Terry Pratchett.

I've read some of his books, but probably not as many as I should have. Time to rectify that, I think.

Good luck with finding a copy.

Terry Pratchett was actually working on a 5th Tiffany Aching book when he passed away, entitled The Shepherd's Crown. It's a shame we most likely won't get to see what he was working on.

But, he does leave a real legacy with dozens of awesome books.

Thanks! I'm thinking to send email to publisher to publish I Shall Wear Midnight and that one that both of us doesn't remember its name after Terry's departed.  :umm:

I wish The Shepherd's Crown is gonna be published too someday although its not finished yet.

I planned to read another Discworld books but too bad my reading passion hasn't fully restored, until now. It's decreased when I was finishing my thesis
