I wonder, do you guys think that's true, that the steriotypical Angry Girlfriend would be the reason why Kishi would put those two together IF he puts them together, because I LOVE angry girlfriends, especially in Ranma.

I was about to post something on this issue but I'll just reply in thread.
In Japan there's this thing called "Tsundere" (you can look it up on wikipedia) It basically refers to a girl who typically starts out being mean and angry at her childhood friend then eventually softens up and falls in love with him. It's a very "moee~" t hing and very popular. I don't how how much into moe kishimoto is, but if he's following ye olde Tsunderekko tradition, Sakura totally fits it lmao
and she'll end up with Naruto! yay!

Yeah, because someone on here said something about the women in Japan rule the household. That would fit Sakura pretty well, too. But yeah, I like the angry girlfriend. Its great comic relief!

Nice find, Vespar! I wish this situation goes the same for Sakura. So far it seems to have happened a bit to Sakura. She has softened up to Naruto in Part 2.

Tsundere, hmm? Kind of reminds me of a line in Genshiken where the guys all predict how the cliched angry girlfriend Katsukabe would start off a dominatrix and slowly become subservient. =)

Hmm...Hmmm..I never thought of it that way before! I just liked NaruSaku for....obvious reasons. Kishimoto seems to be going down that path. Arigatou, Hinano! Tsundere...reminds me of Tsunade.

Yeah those kinds of relationships can be quite fun to watch but truthfully I don't really have a favorite kind of relationship. It's more along of the lines of if the relationship is done well if that book, anime, etc. tends to put an emphasis on the relationships being deep and putting them off till the ned of the story.

Angry girlfriend... Yeah. It sounds fun.
In the Anime, when Sakura, Naruto and Jiraira went looking for Orochimaru's hideout. I think you can see a jealous reaction when Naruto says that he's relieved to see Sasame-chan safe.
If Naruto ever dates a girl, Sakura will probably follow him to see where he goes and what he does. This could be a fun chapter, since they haven't had a real date yet.
