Why petition? So we get a pity alternative ending that will never be considered Canon? Seriously you want to make a point, make a point wit your wallet, don't buy any of his merchandise again, because money grabber only care about money, petitions just give them a happy, knowing their crap got a reaction.
You hit them where it hurts, you want them to stop screwing consumers over, you stop buying their crap....just ask Sony they thought the PS3 would sell because of it's name, when they got humbled they started to get their act together and released some awesome games, MS is doing the same thing right now, Nintendo also following suit.
