Capture flag ... lol that is INSTANTLY reminds me of some online games , like World of Warcraft and some First Person Shooter games.

I didn't sense that feeling of danger , whenever i see Boruto stuff , all i see is a hippy land , happy go lucky , it's like being in a theme pleasure park or disney park , riding roller coaster and stuff like that , the opening really give that strong feeling almost same feeling like dragon ball super , everything is colorful , kitten villain. Eh .... i could talk forever about this.

I generally don't watch anime youtubers because their voices are generally too...nasally or whiny. 
 
As for the chunin exams. There were people that lost out in the exam in Boruto, and at this point Bolt is apparently still not a chunin in the manga. But lets compare the chunin exam in part one and the one in Boruto.
 
The chunin exam in Naruto was theme around information gathering
 
The first part of the exam was various forms gathering information, and the willingness to go through with a mission
The second part was the mission which included: protecting the information gathered, securing more information from the enemy, teamwork, and general survival skills
Part three was combat to show off to the nobles.
 
In Boruto's chunin exam...hold on I forgot I need to look back at it.
 
Part one was they were asked a question but it was a trick question which both answer leading to falling into a pit, and one needing the skills & quick thinking not to fall into the ink. It was apparently about not giving up.
Part two was capture the flag to learn about teamwork....that's it.
Part three was combat.
 
So it's theme revolved around trying to teach the lessons that were at the core of Naruto's values in part one; never give up and teamwork. Which is OK.... not as interesting as the chunin exam in part one.

But still he made it too easy like he wants everyone to win and learn nothing. What values naruto got rid of those during the last cause of hinata or before that with sasuke.

The difference between the two is:

 

Naruto's was suppose to show the serious & dark nature of the ninja through an arc. That would continue to inspire him to reject the current ninja way, to find his own path, and reform the corrupt ninja system. 

 

Boruto has a 90 minute movie that is the start of his story, and these are the lesson that Naruto learned early on that he now needs to learn before his story can truly start. Problem is that the anime started before this point in the story, so its in a rut, and the manga so far the chunin exam is the majority of the story so far.

....Boruto really is "a never ending prologue." I want to ask everyone something, "when does Boruto's story start?" Is the anime? The movie? Or the current arc in the manga?

 

 

 

Because how I see it the answer is both all of them and none of them. So in the end none of them.

Great my day got a sorta spoiled thanks to my best friend sending me this.... 

 

Conciliation prize sure, but damn how insulting you sacrifice the two logical choices (NaruSaku/Karin)  for the two "red herring" (NH/SS) choices  and then bring back the one that makes sense  for the next generation (which personally I have nothing against the ships in the new generations), but evey time people bring this up I'm just like  HOW FU CKING SHALLOW IS THAT??? 

 

But you know I'm going to back my own story with a "real relationship" not some conciliation prize. 

Maybe you should tell her about Sumire and say how she totally belongs with Boruto since she has loved Boruto since the beginning and since they are like NaruHina...they should totally be together. Say that Salad is just a kitten that abuses Boruto and how she doesn't understand Boruto at all.

Tell her if she can't see that then she is not reading the manga correctly.

I thought that too! I agree they were probably planning to discard Sumire and the similarities were probably just concidental. But it plays perfectly as a juxtaposition of the story of Naruto and Hinata: The moment in episode 2 when Sumire stood up for Boruto can be easily de-constructed as Boruto's "Red Scarf" moment when he was genuinely impressed with a person he had just met. And it seems Shino now wants to play a similar role for Sumire as Iruka did for Naruto. That last thing makes me think the writers themselves have already taken notice of the similarities and are going to keep showing us parallels from now on.

 

 

 

So yeah, Boruto really is jsut copying from the original Naruto with just flipping things around.

to which Naruto says, "Shiakmaru and A shadow clone are taking care of things at work." 

 

 

Remember this is before the Boruto Movie, and since it's canon we can say that's an inconsistency because in the movie and now in the manga He sends a shadow clone to her birthday instead of the other way around.

Both Naruto and Sasuke are most likely dead by the point Nail and Bolt fight in order to build drama into the fight. Sadly if we are able to see that it will probably going to be after at least a decade of them praising nH in the Boruto anime. I rather it be cancelled before then; the sooner the better. Granted they will blame us for it despite the fact that this franchise has been in a death spiral ever since their pairing became canon.

 

Honestly, I doubt they're dead. That would spark rage and alienate whoever still follows this crappy series.

 

It will be something lame like "Naruto and Sasuke are sealed somewhere anc can't escape."

So he IS able to left a clone doing paperwork, welp that only makes me think that in canon he came to see the  person responsible for ruining the most important day of his life suffer, I don't blame him I would be doing the same thing.

Oh now he cares to skip work but not for his daughter birthday that is a whole new level of not giving a kitten especially about continuity. Love to see a pro-enders defeat this scene and say he's a good father even after the bolt movie. Also in that movie hinata lost that forced scary mode she pulled out of her ass in the movie because shut up don't question queen hinata.

Well it obvious that they want to remove or soften anything that can attribute nH as dysfunctional. Since that was one of the most damning scene from the movie, they of curse want to have that compeletly dismiss from the minds of the viewers. That entire episode was all about trying to dismiss things that made Naruto comes off as apathetic towards is family: He sleeps on the couch regularly/he apparently gets drunk a lot, he sends clones to hang out with his family/he drop everything to go home to take care of his daughter once he hears she is sick, and then that speech he gives to hinata at the end about his family being the most important thing to him.

He has no right to say that cause we already know where it leads in the bolt movie so this doesn't work and as pointless cause Naruto will go back on that in the movie since that movie is canon so everything we see here in the anime is say it with me pointless.

I humbly think there's no consolation prize. The publisher is not so smart if they think this is some kind of competition. No such thing in story telling. It's never competition to begin with...

 

NS fans have left the series the moment 699 and 700 were published. It's not the same and it'll never be the same. The publisher would be very shallow to think that NS fans would come back just because Boruto and Sarada are paired.

 

They better use whatever remaining budget and resources to spoon feed the NH/SS fandom. These two are now the ones supporting this series financially. Ironically, there's not much NH/SS moments being displayed anymore aren't there?

SP is using it as support till Black Clover takes off. Honestly, looking at all the other anime coming out at the moment; it may be the worst out currently. That's kind of sad, but mostly pathetic.

I disagree, I do think they are that stupid. They think they can bring back the NS fans, and the success NS brought to Naruto with BS. Granted, if the anime staff had their way it would be BoltXClone instead. In the anime they are pandering to nH/SS as hard as they can while focusing on the children; when I was watching it. I doubt they have let up; at least not with nH. In the manga; I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kishimoto told the other two he didn't want to see either Sakura or Hinata anymore then necessary.

Yes, but the anime/manga is being made AFTER the Bolt movie was made and several other things that were established long before. Yes, the anime takes place chronologically before the movie, but is in production after the movie was made. Which makes it even more obvious how much retconning they keep doing to save face.

This is the problem with time-skips and jumping ahead because if you establish a drama in a later story and then go back to "fill in the blanks" you have to make the story lead up to those moments and if you wanted to change it to make it seem like it is not so bad later on...then you are practically showing where you kittened up and what you are purposely trying to fix.

This was the problem with the Naruto the Last movie, this was the problem with all the light novels, and this was the problem with tons and tons more of the story with Boruto and Naruto story. They make it too easy to point out the retcons and the obvious BS especially when they try to rewrite the original Naruto manga. This is what is causing us to look at the original manga and say "When did this happen?!"

 

It is one of those "Too little, too late" kind of things.

This is what makes people bad writers. The more mistakes you make, the more likely people are going to see you as an incompetitant writer.

Just look at The Ressurection of F movie and the Dragonball Super anime which happen at different times and yet both are considered canon.
