Anyone here watches this show, based on the DC superhero Green Arrow?

I like the show a lot, but there are some stupid things like in the comics Ollie is a funny and sarcastic guy and I understand this is a darker take on things but Oliver is too serious. Also don't like the no powers things but I can live with that as some of the fight scene are pretty epic. I heard Flash is going to get a spin off show that's connected to Arrow so maybe there will be powers.

I really enjoy this show. The amount of characters from the comics they've brought in and adapted into these series universe is part of what I like about the show. I hope to see Huntress in this season.And I've also become kinda an Ollie/Felicity shipper.

Supposedly, Flash is gonna appear as Barry Allen first in the series for a couple episodes, then later as the Flash. As the rumor mill goes, they say he will be the first character with powers in the series. But this is just what I've read from different websites.

I really prefer Sarah to Laurel. I really hope that she stays Canary, even though the names don't match to canon--canon is already so deviated from as is. Laurel Lance, though I'm trying to sympathize with her, isn't as likeable and her scenes seem very forced. Sarah's story is far more compelling and she has the training and backstory of her own needed to justify her heroic status. At this point I don't know how they'd work in Laurel. Her story is too tied to Ollie's, and it would take years to get the training she needs to be just as good--those 'self defence' classes don't count. Anyone else seriously underwhelmed by her character?

I have never read any of the comics, but i have been watching the anime, which mostly are the Justice League and Smallville is how I know Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. To say, I haven't known any other characters from Green Arrow's comics until I watched this show. And what this I here about the Flash making an appearance  I do like OliverXSarah.

I agree with you guys they need to keep Sara as Canary. I don't care what they do with Laurel as long as they don't make her Canary, I'm fine with it. Besides if they wanted Laurel to be canary then they should never brought sara back and made her this badass character. Heck She's unofficially part of the main cast. As recurring character she made more appearances than Slade, Moira, Quintein, and Thea who are part of the main cast. The only episode she hasn't appear was episode 2. Unless this Nyssa Al Gurl who will appear in episode 13 will train Laurel in favor for Sara. There's no other way!

 

Oliver will train Roy and maybe Thea but not Laurel. He doesn't want her involve and the fact he's keeping his identity as Arrow and Sara's alive and her identity as Canary is a sign. Diggle and Felicity knows more about him than his family and friends prior to the island (except Sara). Besides we know it's about Green arrow and his pretty bird... but which one should he take?

 

Hopefully these flash episodes coming up will meet everyone's expectations since this is what all are waiting for. Honestly I don't care about the Flash. I don't recall much team up Green arrow had with him anyway. Now Green latern, yes and would make a better feat than the flash. But Oliver needs more establishment before meeting Hal Jordan. 

 

Sorry folks I rather see my pretty bird or Roy finally don red arrow than wasting 2 episodes on a character that won't make much of a difference on the show. Also I would like the creators make a situation where Oliver saves sara anyway. Remember he failed her twice and that bother him if you look at him on episodes 4 & 5. So a 3rd time would kill it!
