The past tense was proven to be false, if the Japanese blogs/Transcripts are true. Two of the translators confirmed it. It was all present tense.

 

I'm not surprised, however. I never let myself believe that she was over Sasuke, because I've been down that road before. (I shipped Zutara back in the day, heh) This doesn't mean NS won't happen, but it does mean it's going to be very anti-climactic/unsatisfactory. Well, it is a shonen manga. I'll take what I can get.

Has the raws come out? really want to have this past/present thing confirmed as to which one it is.

I really pity Sakura at the moment. She has decided to degrade and humiliate herself rather then confront sasuke. really pathetic...

Those comments about an author digging himself a hole is not really valid since you dont know how the author is going to continue his story. Just because hes not showing activ pairin moments at the time doesnt mean that he made a mistake and doesnt know what to do now. He has the story in his head and is going to resolve the romance plot at the time he intended to.

I guess it's still remained to be seen. Regardless, i don't have much confidence that any pairing will be pulled off very well.

Well it could be either tbh. But Kishi isn't helping by dragging Sakura feelings for both the boys out as much as he can

Responsibility and Accountability? What are those? I used to know what those were and then I read Naruto.

It seems we are all more interested in discrediting NH then actually discussing NS. Why even read their forums/posts??

Im gonna chime in because I keep seeing the ""its just cpr"" line being used. While the humility is refreshing its a bit overblown imo.

 

A  Manga is a visual medium those 18-20 pages have a limited space to tell a story and the imagery invoked is signifigant. Each panel must succinctly tell a story and each panel with dialogue must advance the plot successfully.

 

The panels where she is giving him CPR are literally some of the hugest--not size wise-- in terms of signifigance. In a manga fraught with symbolism like Naruto has been those panels are as signifigant as they come. She is literally breathing life into him while holding her heart in his hand. The authors intent couldn't be more clear in those panels then if Sakura had a big Neon sign over her head saying "This is mine, this is where my babies come from."

 

Kishimoto-sensei has always used symbolism and applied imagery to great effect in his story. With those 2 panels he has cemented a symbolic bond between the two that goes beyond any mere swapping of spit or hug ever could.

I've been on Tumblr on my Naruto RP blog and the amount of nopes the other fandoms are giving is really entertaining. They're really in denial.

But wait.... we were exactly the same for 615 in all fairness so...

I see now why the Japanese fandom claims that NS is canon and that "Deep Kisu" just cement it .

 

Also can we say now that SS is DEAD now i think we can right . 

As much as i want it to be SS is not dead. She doesn't know about sasuke's state atm as well as sakura not declaring she doesnt love him anymore
