When do you guys think the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight will happen? Will it be right after the fight with Madara or are we gonna get one last story arc for it?

as far i know kishi he would do another arch this guy doesnt like short stories i think he want to show sasuke to become as powerful as naruto or even more so that he can show the potential of narutos bond with every people as the sage said ashura awakened his power by his bonds with his friends.
That should make the story parallaly interesting. Hey how many of u guys still believe as me that sasuke is just pretending to be good to gain some thing or the kages and itachi really turned him goofld!???

So we have on our hands Bijuu-Sage mode Naruto? So we could see him go the Sand attacks or the Hairball acid attacks or even fly this chapter?

 

Gotta say the Lava Rasen shurikan thingy looks awesome...though I'm sure I had a idea similar to this for a fanfi years ago, well before the war started...also did I just see Naruto somehow manage to take that black ball thing he kicked last week turn into a spike and attack Madara?

 

Edit: I'm predicting Madara gets his arse handed to him, Black Zetsu gets the other Rinnigan, Madara gets a major boost and things start looking bad for Naruto and gang again.

As for not killing Madara, remember Naruto made a promise to FREE the Bijuu from being controlled.

 

Well, not kill Madara until the Bijuus are free, the finish him off along with the Gedo Mazo, so that nobody else can try to revive the Juubi ever again.

well I must say this is very shocking, and its good to see you guys still want the Naruto vs Sasuke fight to happen as I'm not the only one. I just wonder if Sasuke is really good right now or if he is still evil.

I just want it to happen right after the fight with Madara I don't want an entire story arc beating around the bush especially since we are already in the climax of the series and they would have one helluva an audience (every ninja alive watching) it would feel like history in the making and not just a repeat of the VoTE and it signifies Naruto finally surpassing Sasuke with everyone as a witness

This chapter and the next will deal most likely with power show off from naruto or perhaps sasuke. I agree with Harrye that madara would gain upperhand again when he gain back his left eye. This remind me with pain arc setting.

Not that simple. First of all, there is nothing left to asspull. At this point most powers they get ARE justified. We need to get our definitions straight.

On a different note, I seriously feel like the final battle will be evenly matched. Really, I think it'll be more of a battle of ideals/attitude than anything else.

And as far as the VotE fight goes, it most certainly was not that simple. At that point, they were evenly matched, then Naruto had the upper hand, then they were evenly matched again, then Sasuke slightly gained the upper hand because of his omnipresent plot armor. At the end, it all came down to how far they were prepared to go (especially Naruto). Sasuke didn't win because be was stronger; it's not that simple. If anything, the rasengan has been explicitly stated to be inherently superior to the Chidori over and over again, so there's that.

What i said is that during the VoTe on which is stated, they were evenly matched but however we all knew what their powers were and what they could do, we dont know most of Sasuke's jutsus behind the fuumetsu on which can have other jutsus, and now he has the rinnegan who gives him more jutsus, Hashirama's cells and Sage's power.

For Naruto, we have the power of the sage who was not fully revealed.

In fact the difference is that it's unpredictable, what kind of jutsus they gonna use.

Agree with this. BTW can you tell where it was stated that Rasengan is superior to Chidori. I mean I'm just curious and I wanna know where it was stated.

Funny that you mentioned about the comparison with Chidori and Rasengan. It's like Sasuke said "Screw it, I'll go all Sharingan to make it stronger than Rasengan." Luckily for him, Naruto just did a normal one to communicate with him in the last encounter. It would have been funny if Naruto did the strongest one and Sasuke just accidentally dies. I'm just saying that he hasn't make it stronger, only gone Amatertsu level now. Seems like his favorite.

Chidori is more of a killing move than rasengan, rasengan does more internal damage while Chidori does penetration, in my opinion Chidori is stronger than Rasengan because it's damage is fatal and it's versatile, if you look at the possibilites you can unlock, with Rasengan, the only thing Naruto did with it was having to get close and use it or throw it.

I disagree for a few reasons.

-The Rasegan is actually an incomplete jutsu. The Rasen-Shurikan is actually the real jutsu and is massively more devastating. It is an S-Class too. Chidori may be able to pierce people, but the Rasen-Shurikan can cut them in half. In terms of damage, I am going to take the cutting people in half as more devastating

 

-The Chidori has a major flaw: You need a Sharigan to keep up and increase your reflexes due to it being easily dodgable. Even Minato says that the jutsu is sluggish and Kakashi was only really able to use it effectively after he got the Sharingan.

-In terms of versatility....that's a hard one because the chidori is a stand alone jutsu. Sure you can manipulate it, but it is stand alone. The Rasengan can be combined with any other element and maybe even jutsu. He can combine with any element like lava we can see in the next chapter, but also can combine it with the Amaterasu to create an even more devastating attack. So I say they are about even in versatility.

-Anyone can do a Rasengan. That is a beauty part of it. Anyone can use the Rasengan and you don't need hand signs. As long as you manipulate chakra, you can make a rasengan.

That's just my opinion.

True, but Rasen Shuriken also tears its target apart an a cellular level, because as stated by Kakashi in the fight against Kakuzu, that when Rasen Shuriken impacts, it explodes into millions upon millions of microscopic wind blades that attack and tear apart the body's cells, and not even he (Kakashi) could count them all with his Sharingan.

 

Also, stated by Kakashi, Chidori was made from his own attempt to complete the Rasengan, but he, like Minato, failed to complete it, therefore Chidori is, in my opinion, a cheap knockoff of Rasengan, therefore it is weaker.

 

Also, with what I said about Rasengan being the highest level of Shape Manipulation is that Rasengan is pure chakra, where as Chidori is more of an elemental attack, (Lightning Chakra), and not so much shape manipulation.

 

But just like Chidori, Rasengan can kill the target if it is strong enough, also, Rasengan, is superior, because once it is formed and fully stable, it becomes self-sustaining, and therefore, doesn't need a lot of focus, so the user can focus their attention on the opponent.
