... No way.
I really hope this does not end in a bad way for Marvel.
Spider-Man in Kingdom Hearts anyone?

Really?! Well, when I was little I used to watch it on cartoon network. (And that was... some time ago)
Boy, you really must be young if you think that was 'some time ago' XD
I was watching Bugs Bunny cartoons when I was a kid in the 80's. *Long* before any 'Cartoon Networks' came round

Man. You guys, suck.
All your ideas suck. " Marvel Hearts? " , " Club Marvel? "
Well. Here's the deal. Me and the gang at Disney have totally made up the BEST.
MOST AWESOME.
MOST ELECTRIFYING IDEA EVER.
Hannah Deadpool! At day he's sarcastic , katana-slashin' , dirty talking , punk-shooting super hero who's still stuck in high school even though he's 30 but at night he's a queen! The queen of childish pop and the heart breaker of all boys and some girls!
Bang. Disney hire me. My number is <CENSORSHIP>.

Oh come on, can you image some of the super hero's that Marvel makes as kid friendly. I sure can't.
Runaways. Young Avengers. The entire Marvel Adventures line. The Power Pack.
They're there; the issue is whether you want to acknowledge they're there.

Seriously?
Jeez.

I'm probably biased since I'm not the biggest Marvel (or DC) fan around...but I think the outrage is unfounded. Just because a company that's known for family entertainment buys another geared more towards teens doesn't mean it will change the latter. To me, this is just a case of Disney expanding their market and profiting off a different target audience.
Disney on occasion has shown to be able to make darker, more mature content. While I think Pirates of the Caribbean wasn't the best idea, they were still fun movies to watch.
And would you believe that Disney made THIS THING?
And Marvel has appealed to kids several times. Name ONE X-men series where Wolverine actually draws blood and cuts something alive. The original Spider-man series always fired lasers instead of bullets, and the vampires drank plasma instead of blood. The current Spider-man series features Peter Parker as a very youngish teenager. The current Iron Man is in High School and doesn't have a beard. Not to mention the fact that Marvel has produced Ducktales comics, Power Rangers comics, even Muppet Babies!

From a discussion a buddy of mine and I had in regards to "Batman and Bugs vs Wolverine and Mickey":
QUOTE (Pliskin MacReady)
Batman would simply buy out Disney, and force Wolvering to work on the studio's newest kid's show--Marvel Babies. Forced not only to change his name to Wolve-weenie and replace his antamantium claws with the power of love, he must also give up smoking cigars. Cut-off from his steady supply of refreshing nicotine, Logan will begin a slow descent into madness, ending with him joining the Jonas Brothers as Howlin' Jimmy Jonas.
This whole thing has led to far more lulz that I would have expected.

I'm willing to chip in buying a big wooden table and fancy chairs so we can all sit down and discuss fake lulzy ideas about Marvel and Disney and making them as horrid as possible.
Gentlemen. Ladies.
I think Disney-Marvel just set it's match.
