Just shut it down right now.

Don't even go any further with any arguments in this thread. I have said it before, and I will say it for the last time. Leave any and all negative comments out of this thread. There is an entire internet out there for people to argue and debate about Michael and his life.

This thread is not one of them.

Sorry Shauna. I know it was immature.

Won't happen again. I'll sort it out through MSN or something next time.

I'm just sad. ;____;

It wasn't you I was mainly speaking to. After all, it wasn't you who brought the negativity into the thread. *huggles Saku-chan* a_hug.gif

What's with the negativity here? mellow.gif

You have to realize that Michael is a LEGENDARY Musical Icon for our US Pop culture. He's at the level where Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe are in since our Pop culture began. We should be honoring and celebrating his life for not only entertaining us for his musical talent and career over the years but his message of bring peace and unity to this world. Not to mention, breaking down racial barriers in the music industry.

Now although like Shauna said, lets not go into arguments/debates, but I like to add my knowledge about the King of Pop for those whom haven't followed his past.

I like to start at the beginning, since Michael had all that drama in his private life (with Neverland, those child molesting allegations, issues with his own children, the list goes on and on from what the media exposed, well except for his skin change, I don't know the reason why he had done that), people need to understand and this was mentioned many times before...

He didn't had a proper childhood.

All of that time, he was on the road with his brothers, performing for many audiences. The real cause of this, his father. (Yes, I'm eyeing on you, Joe.)

Because of the stress of practicing singing and dancing, not to mention Joe's pressuring of making the Jackson 5 and Michael perfect and outshining the competition back then. You had to noticed why Michael hadn't mention Joe in his will and later created Neverland. You can also see why Michael's children weren't in the spotlight because he wanted them to have a better childhood. There's a movie already out and it aired on VH1 about Michael that people need to watch so you may know what had happen in his life that I may missed. (Most of it is from what my mother had told me because she had watch it.)

It's a shame that although he was the legendary icon that everyone had said, "Many will imitate but never duplicate," he had all this drama around him. Now he's in a better place now and his family, closest friends, and fans will all miss him.

EDIT:

And I also like to point out is this: Michael is actually one of the last few icons of entertainment/pop culture we had here today. Now that he's gone, who is the next figure who gonna reach this status? Sure you have singing/dancing artists like Usher, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and others who were influenced by Michael's style, but I know no one will reach that particular status Michael had achieved.

Not sure if anyone knew this but he had some skin disease that caused discoloration, possibly that also led to him changing his skin change, not sure really.... Oh and he also wrote 2 songs for The Simpsons: Do the Bartman and a Lisa Birthday song, the latter he sang with Bart on Ep. 1, Season 3.

"Lisa it's your birthday, happy birthday Lisa."

Good times MJ, I'm sadden by his death. I don't care for tabloids, I don't believe he did it. He is a man who touch people around the world with his music. Not only was he a hell of a artist, he was also a great dad to his children. He is not only the king of pop, he was and probably be the greatest musical entertainer of all time. God bless you Michael, even though you are no longer with us here on this planet, you will always live forever in our hearts.

The naysayers have their words, but Michael will live on forever.

His music influenced many, touched many and brought all of us together. If he could see those who pray for him now, I think he'd be smiling.

Sweet dreams, dear Prince.

I like to go out and party, but I do not like drinks served in a femvase (damn fruity stuff... ew), so good ol' beer is my mate. So yeah, I'm also a psychology student, so your mind interests me.

You know... even if the doctor was more innocent in this case than I am, his carreer and life is over. I don't know if he'll be safe anywhere now, since there's probably enough crazy fans out there ready to avenge their deceased hero. If he goes to jail, I'm sure there will be plenty of convicted murderers or whatever who owns at least one Michael Jackson album, who just happens to know how to make a lethal weapon out of a piece of gum and a sheet of toilet paper.
If he's not in jail, those very same fans might be out of prison as well. If his death alone was enough to make people kill themselves, then I can't even fathom what limits fans are willing to go to avenge a man more or less convicted for Michael Jackson's MURDER.

As a brilliant man once said; I pity the fool!
