"Retarded" is a word I would avoid, but yeah, fans behind a character are typically going to be passionate about them. You could make a case for Hinata surpassing Neji, but Sakura is the strongest kunoichi. It doesn't make them delusional to think or argue otherwise, just more your typical passionate fan. 

 

I do disagree with the KibaHina part, as NH did interact, and Kiba teased NH himself, I don't think "acknowledging" those feelings is much of an argument for an entirely different pairing, and Kiba does not really emulate the features that Hinata found endearing in Naruto beyond being more arrogant really. 

Did Hinata do something in any of the Boruto Material that made her surpass Neji ? From what I've seen in the manga and "The Last" she clearly didn't. 

You can be a passionate fan yet understand the reality of a character's strength. Alot of Hinata fans I've seen don't understand that reality and just want to overhype their fav to ridiculous extremes.

For KibaHina part, you can argue that Kiba began to "emulate the features that Hinata found endearing about Naruto" (which was mainly the idea of never giving up and believing in oneself)  after his chunnin exams loss. I do think Kiba acknowledging Hinata's feelings (e.g. Kiba teasing Naruto about Hinata) can be used to justify the pairing because Naruto, on the other hand, didn't view Hinata's feelings as anything other than platonic until the movie. 

Kiba, at least, understood, and they were closer anyway. Hinata's feelings could've matured where she got over Naruto, imo.

Hey, its been a long while

I'm back (for a very limited period though).

Well, I'm back because of my bewilderment of how retarded most Naruto fans are. I was on random a youtube video about Konoha 13 power ranking yet I see many comments stating how "Hinata is stronger than Neji, Sakura, Shikamaru etc", "wtf, How is Sakura so high, Hinata can destroy her" etc, etc.

I'm sorry, did I miss something ? Did Hinata get some big epic fight in Boruto or something ? (I still haven't seen any Boruto material)

Fandom gives her so much undeserved hype for doing nothing. They say stuff like "Hinata has mastered Gentle Fist". And? Is that supposed to be impressive ? Neji mastered Gentle fist when he was a genin (before the chunnin exams). They constantly say "muh Hamura chakra". I've only watched "Naruto the Last" once and what I remember about Hinata is her; getting captured 3 times in one movie, failing to destroy the tenseigan thing and needing Naruto's help and......that's it. She showed 0 feats with "Hamura chakra" (oh. I forgot the parts where she even forgot that she was a ninja at parts of the film lol.

Whatever fan you are, you have to be completely delusional to believe that Hinata is stronger than Sakura. Hinata is honestly the weakest in Team 8 ( and has been from the start). Shino is very intelligent with his tricks and skills while Kiba has his own powerhouse techniques and even one during the Konoha Novel where he destroyed a meteorite (ommited from the anime by Studio pierrot though). Hinata nearly tripped while mastering 8 Trigrams 64 plams, (a technique Neji could do easily in the chunnin exams) and her Twin lion fists is a still featless technique because she keeps getting BTFO before actually using it.

I wonder why Narutards feel compelled to glorify Hinata's everything in this franchise when she was barely more relevant than Kiba throughout the story. 

SD made me really ship nejihina, together with the doujin terrace.

I know many ship kibahina but I never got that tbh. Hinata has zero chemistry with Naruto and Kiba is just like him, but even more hotheaded.

NejiHina is pretty much incest. They are 1st cousins, they're almost brother and sister so I think this ship is very wierd tbh.

imo, KibaHina had potential because (unlike NaruHina), they knew each other well, actually interacted, Kiba acknowledged Hinata's feelings. Their relationship could've easily become romantic (without the need of a Genjutsu dream sequence lol). All, that would've made this couple work is if Hinata had just realised that she had a "similar" Naruto in her own team that already understands her.

I seriously don't understand why Naruto is So Busy during these times of Peace. With the new technological advancements and expansion of Konoha Village, There must now be an influx of people living in Konoha...... therefore, there should be an influx of workers/shinobi too. Even more is the fact these are times of peace, so there should be a significant reduction in ninja missions for Naruto to assign. That also means that the shinobi of the village would rarely be going out on missions and should have more time to spend in the Village. There should be no reason for Naruto to constantly send Shadow clones to do various work in the Village as there should be more than enough workers to do them. Also , not only could Naruto use Shadow clones to do the paperwork for him so the real one can spend time with his family, He could hire more workers to make the paperwork easier. He's the Freaking Hokage!! Just because it's the Hokages job to protect the Village and it's people, that doesn't mean that He has to do everyone's duties....It's like he's unecessarily taken upon everyone's burden to do work. There's zero excuses for him not spending time with his family.

There's absolutely no logic in this. I can't believe people are buying into this extremely lame excuse

I personally liked the previous 2 F4 movies.....but It thought this would be a cool reboot.

It's crazy but pretty much everything you said reciprocates how I felt about NS and everything that happened with the Naruto Ending.

Like you said, I only pushed NS because that was the direction of the narrative of the story (+ Plus it made me appreciate Sakura alot more )

I think the panel was meant to deceive. The problem isn't the manga, however, it's Kishimoto. He has no problem destroying what he's built up or retconning what was never there to begin with. So the whole prospect of looking for foreshadowing or trying to establish a pattern is pointless. Kishimoto can turn it over in the end. 

 

I tend to think the panels are meant to show Sakura as being there, but hide definitively whether she was pregnant or not. My theory is that she's pregnant...for the simple reason that I don't think Kishimoto is brave enough to make Karin the mom. (After all, there is a female who got treated worse than Sakura did in the manga - and that's Karin. He's not going to make her a heroine-type now.) 

 

But even if he did show Sakura as full blown pregnant, he could always turn it around in the end and say it was Karins child, and that is was just a windy day, she had on a billowing dress and that we, the audience, were reading it wrong.

 

Remember in the manga, Naruto said Sakura was his girlfriend and Minato gave his tacit blessing. But he still flipped the story and blamed the readers, passing the whole thing off as a red herring. 

 

That dude can and will do whatever he wants. We may all have opinions, but Kishimoto doesn't care about his audience, his characters or his story. So it makes it really hard to look at the story with a critical eye now. He'll change it to suit whatever he wants.

 

And it sucks that in a story about shinobis he's boiled it down to a "Who's My Mummy?" between the two characters he treated the most poorly in the original work. 

 

If you had asked me to come up with a storyline for Part 3, in my wildest dreams I could never have picked the one we got.

True. It safe to say that all Kishi care about is it's popularity and how much money it can generate.

Just pointing out but.....The rankings for WSJ have a 7-8 week delay.

Therefore the rankings that you see online for this week, are actually the ranking for the issue 7-8 weeks ago.

Since, Naruto Gaiden has only been serialised for 3-4 weeks, it means it's ranking hasn't been shown yet.

 

It's not just The Last that has a strange, loyal following. Suffer through one of forneverworld's or sawyer's reviews of the new chapters and they're startlingly positive. And the folks in the comment section seem to be receiving Gaiden really well, too. It doesn't make sense to me unless they are liking it because it's Naruto and they feel like they're supposed to.

Of course, those channels are infested with the most die-hard NaruTards (especially NH tards) that won't let Naruto die and will continue to defend it no matter how atrocious it is.

Like most people have been saying :

- More NaruSaku moments (no negative development)

- More Badass fights for Sakura because she's the Heroine of the series

- Make Hinata grow out of her crush for naruto and then use her admiration for him to realise that Kiba has been by her side/supportive all this time + realises that he appreciates her. (To me, this would be a more realistic approach for Hinata's character since her and Naruto barely even interacted in this series, so her obsession for Naruto just comes across as really superficial and Bland  )

- I know some people say Neji with Hinata.....I'm fine with it since it would also make more sense than NH, (However, I'm still not sure if it's Incest or Not...so I would prefer Hinata with Kiba.

- Speaking of Neji, Keep him alive....Also, I would prefer him to be Head of the Hyuga clan instead of Hinata. Though, Hinata will still develop Independance and some leadership among the Hyugas.

-More Involvement of the Konoha 11

- Less Focus on Uchiha Drama. Thank you

- Sasuke Closure/redemption....Sasuke's character didn't seem resolved.

- Team Taka, Orochimaru and Kabuto should've been resolved in the main manga.

Something I noticed but, why do fans who claim to be pro-Kishi like bashing/hating on some characters such as, Sakura ?

Do they not know that by hating on some of the characters, you're also hating on Kishi's ability as writer ?

 I don't understand. It's just hypocrisy and I don't think they realise it.     

It made more sense than the cat lady since he was always their for Hinata and their bonds were a lot better.

Exactly, Kiba who's always Brash, Cocky and Loudmouthed in his personality has always showed so much care/protectiveness for Hinata.

It was showed on multiple occassions in the series.

The only thing NH have are over-glorified moments that practically had zero meaning since Naruto and Hinata didn't even get any closer until the "retcon movie"

Kiba and Hinata have bonded longer together (along with shino) just as how Naruto and Sakura have bonded along the course of the story.

However, due to Team 8's lack of screentime in Shippuden, their bonds are often forgotten or not cared about.....

.......But they'll push Hinata's obsession for Naruto because she's the most important and her Happiness is worth more than any other character in this series
