If no one got around to noticing it yet, yep, it's a new fic I posted just yesterday - both in ffnet and the library. Both versions differs just a little, one is rated M, the other is rated MA. Take a guess why, if you have to. If you don't feel comfortable with certain kind of contents, don't force yourself. There's always a cleaner version available.

In anycase, I didn't think of creating a thread about it at all; all things considered, there wasn't one needed - but....one of the readers have raised an interesting (and perfectly valid, mind) point that I would want to address, not to him/her alone, but generally just everyone. One that, if I feel inspired/spirited enough, my answer could go as long as a few huge chunks of paragraphs. XD

A rather pleasant surprise, all in all.

Cue thread. I have said in the author's notes over there that an update won't be until a very long time later, so obviously, I can't post a chapter without its juicy contents and leave you killing me for just posting some stupid notes. Both for your sanity and my life, indeed?

I will at least need some place where I can post nonsensical ramblings, anyway, so it may as well be here.

Though, I won't start just yet, in case if there's other interesting points that the bunch of you would want to raise.

I think I can see where you're coming from about that point, though I'm sure you can handle it just fine. ^^
I'd need more than one chapter though, to fully comment on it. I don't think I can make an opinion when I have so little to hypothesise, though I guess I am looking forward to see how you go with it.

My reaction about Ino was a first knee-jerk reaction I had after I finish the fic. I suppose why I had that reaction was because Sakura was so down on herself as she left for her mission, thinking she would be unworthy when she returned. That got me thinking that

1) It sucks for Naruto that his love interest will be potentially sleeping with other men.
2) Sakura is devious.
3) NaruSaku scene was HAWT!
4) Hey, if Ino wasn't hospitalized, she would be getting that job. That sucks that she gets stuck with all these "assassination" jobs. I wonder if Ino feels like Sakura when she does these type of things and if it prevents her from finding happiness like Sakura because she feels unworthy. And, that just makes me think how sad it is that Ino has to shoulder these burdens and try to hide Sakura from them.

I will admit that it did come across my mind - while writing this - that I might have portrayed Ino as getting all the sucky jobs. Which is also partly a reason why I try, really hard, to not put emphasis on Ino here, hopefully making it as less noticible as possible.

Looks like it didn't work really well, though. There's a few more things I'd like to say right now, but my mind is too blank and tired to think or phrase things coherently. What I say here, I assure you, is only the tip of the iceberg. XD I blame the damnable assignments. I spent literally the whole night, from 8pm till 3 am, doing them.

And I'm still not done. -.-

Bah. Me sleep. I will work on my essay answer about this when I'm done with my assignments. x.x

Ahem. Anyway, in regards to updates...I will copy/paste several stuff from my author's notes in the fic.

By the time you are done reading, you will either threaten me with a weapon to update, or probably do something drastic. However, an update won't be for a very long time, I'm afraid. This is one of those fics you call spontaneous; a spur of a moment thingy. I will admit there was a plot, but I added a few twists into the story, and the stuff I had thought of isn't so applicable anymore. Add a new project to the equation - recently, I have branched out to a new fandom, for a few reasons - which I plan to concentrate on, well...that doesn't really say much for this story, does it?

I am serious, you know, when I said those things? Although I will admit a lot of things have been happening lately it's beginning to overwhelm me, aside from the fact I'm planning to concentrate on another story unrelated to Naruto. In anycase, though, as said -- next update won't be for a very long time later.

As for CtC, well...I'm really just waiting for a reply from the beta, that's all. XD
