Cartoon Network has plans to cancel “Young Justice”, one of the best shows it’s ever had by far (maybe the best), in my opinion. Please, to anyone who watches the show, please sign this petition to keep it alive! We need all the help we can get to try to persuade CN to keep it, and with over 20,000 signatures already, it seems like we may have a chance.

But we can’t just sit back and hope. We need to do something about this. Please, sign the petition, contribute to the effort to keep this amazing show around!

Sign the petition here!

Support for petitions saving "Young Justice":

QUOTE
This petition was created because Young Justice is one of the best animated TV shows on television at this time. Creator Greg Weisman has given us a fantastic look at the DC universe, one which we feel needs and deserves a third season. This show has a tremendous following, despite Cartoon Network’s horrid scheduling with the haphazard and far too long hiatuses. If airing on Saturday morning with more children focused programming is not in the cards, then perhaps a move to the Toonami block under Adult Swim could provide a solution. Those who have watched the show know full well that Young Justice is a more mature show, animated though it may be, dealing with many aspects that would find it easier to fit in a more adult atmosphere. CN did this show a disservice as soon as they made the not-so-brilliant decision to put the DC Nation block on at 9am Saturday mornings. We cannot let this show be treated so cavalierly by the network, so I ask you to sign this petition and let your voice be heard so Young Justice may hopefully be allowed continue....and if you don’t Superboy will find you and you know how he gets when he’s angry.

QUOTE
Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series have been two extraordinarily popular adaptations of the DC Universe, attracting fans of all ages and gaining an incredible internet following. These shows are well written and extraordinarily well animated, and feature a variety of excellent characters, with both series featuring strong female characters and Young Justice further having a diverse cast and showcasing many characters who can no longer be found within the comics themselves. We feel that the contribution they represented was important, and that their popularity should have guaranteed them renewal. While we appreciate the return of the also popular Teen Titans Go and the opportunity presented by Beware the Batman, we see no reason that these shows should not be able to coexist.

P.S. Even if you don’t watch the show, if you have the time and are willing to do so, please sign along with us (enter a fake address and stuff, they don’t check that).. I would understand if you don’t, but please, consider it. We need as much support as we can get!

EDIT: I found a second petition that that has fewer signatures and is more specific to saving Young Justice. That being said, I don't expect anyone to sign two petitions, really, but I'll post it here just in case.
Other/alternate petition here

I'll be honest, even though I don't watch the show, it's rather sad to see this going away. Seriously? It looks really cool and a lot of fans I witness loves it. Best or worst, it's still needs to be saved. I heard they're bringing back some garbage stuff but come on. CN is finally back on its feet only to tarnish some more. I hope it gets saved.

One of the best cartoons of this generation of Cartoon Network. A lot of their current line ups are pretty awesome actually. We got Adventure Time, Clone Wars, Regular Show, Young Justice, etc.

Young Justice has gorgeous animation, awesome fight scenes is always a plus in my book, and the plot is pretty complex.

I also love their interpretation of Batman in here. He's more like a hard-nosed stereotypical 'beleaguered' Da Chief, but still come off as reasonable, not obsessive about the minute details.

This cartoon really does belong to Toonami, back when it's still airing on Cartoon Network and not the midnight Adult Swim section.

....Also, your 2nd gif is hilarious.

@Shadow, thank you laugh.gif I got it from alexander.

Now, to bump this thread...
We're approaching the last 2 episodes of Young Justice. The last two weeks. And with this time, the petition above has nearly 30,000 signatures.

We've also been trending on Twitter weekly with requests to save YJ and GLTAS.

If anyone is still out there who enjoys these shows, who doesn't want to see them go away, and who hasn't signed the petition or contributed in other ways, this is almost it. Our last-ditch effort. Please, help try to save it!

I don't wanna see YJ gone. I've signed the petition, a few times actually. Plus I've been putting the word out for the past few weeks with friends that watch the show.

Why does cartoon network cancel their best show they've aired in sometime. I will be really sad if this show does not come back.

I've signed the petition, but I'll be honest with you CN has a long history of ignoring viewer petitions.

Thank you! And so will I... apparently, they're cancelling it because of low toy sales.

I figured they did. Still, it's worth a shot. If it doesn't get renewed, I at least hope the show can wrap everything up well in the time they have left.

Why can't CN use their head and put the program on Toonami or Adult Swim? There problem solve.

I'm actually one of those that thinks the show is not worth investing on. The production values are great but it's all just Justice League in teenage form, which I guess is fine if they want to attract new generations but I'm not one of those.

It's more worth investing in than the majority of the other junk on that channel, I have to say. Especially considering how well-executed it's been (for the most part, that time-skip was the one major hiccup, but even that has justified itself by now), the writing has been great and mature, the characters feel real, and there is so much more potential left for it to utilize (it's been cleverly building up to a Red Hood story arc, for example).

I think thats what makes it so great, justice league for kids.

I love seeing the sidekicks work together, they joke around more then their adult mentors and have fun.

:3 the only thing that sucks was the time-skip!! >:U darnit...if they had just stayed as kids.........

but new members are rolled in (my favorite Virgil) .....I'm sad we won't be able to see their development though.

1 more season would have been nice.....
