Monty Oum of Rooster Teeth, creator of RWBY, Dead Fantasy, and Haloid, was hospitalized late Friday in critical care and as of lastest news not known if he will recover. No new news has been released as of late for privacy of his family.

 

Monty is an amazingly talented person and has a rare creative ability on a different level. I post this because I've been a huge fan of his before his Rooster Teeth days. I'm sure there are some other RWBY, Red vs Blue, Rooster Teeth fans on H&E, and I wanted them to know this news if they hadn't found out already.

 

This news tore at me when I found out about his condition. I pray for you Monty Oum. And also have prays for your family. Everyone who's a fan and reads this, please pray for Monty.

Monty Oum has passed away. He was 33.

God bless his soul. My condolences to his family and loved one. We will cherish your work and you forever.

I couldn't believe the news when I saw that he did indeed pass away. He was so very young and talented, may his soul and family find peace during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace Monty, He was a inspiration for so many young people, and left a mark on this world with his work on RvB and RWBY. You will me missed and never forgotten. Thank you for taking RvB to a whole new leve and for giving us RWBY, a show that I hope will inspire thousands of young girls to grow up to be strong independant women.

 

He was three years younger than me, a harsh reminder how mortal we are.

It was hard to watch the news from the company themselves to announce. I am still sad about it. I got RvB collections and soon, RWBY. He's one of the kind. The kind to spread inspirations. We love you, man.

My condolences go to Monty's friends and family. I still have the first volume of RWBY on DVD and I ofcourse still watch it to this day. I know there are gonna be people who will say what's gonna happen with Volume 3, tbh I was like that too... Then I gave some time to think about it and came up with an conclusion let's just be patience. It's a sad day to loose such a wonderful human being such as Monty I remember when it came to his youtube video with Master Chief fighting against in army that was such a long time ago and it was incredible with where he took animation and how far he was able to come .

Does anybody know why he was hospitalized?

 

EDIT: for those curious:

on rooster teeth's site it mentions him being hospitalized due to an allergic reaction that occured during a previous operation.
