I thought that as well. Is it really that different?

It is, even though it has most of the same scenes from the first one, it sort of felt like you were watching a different movie. everythings more dark and serious. Like Denzel for example, he really gives Clouds angst a run for the money, seeing how he belives that he and his geostigma are the reason that Cloud left.

As big a fan I am of Final Fantasy and all it's stuff, I'm just going to skip this. The original Advent Children has already said to be the canon one. From what I hear this just basically cuts a few scenes and add's some to focus on Cloud and Zacks friendship. Zacks cool and all, but no thanks.

It's pretty good. The add-ins really help to expand some of the scenes. Not really necessary, but if you have the cash and love FFVII... why not? Add it to your collection. I'll be scrounging up some money to get it (hopefully...).

I went on GameFAQs and out of curiosity I checked the FFVII board... wow... that board is still so lively.

Every now and then I start to obsess over FFVII again. Watching Advent Children Complete was the catalyst this time.

Ahh... I wish (like every other FFVII fan) that they would just remake FFVII... or do something with it. I want it to live on... and on... and on... and on...

My black labeled FFVII (even though the front has a few cracks in it) and the memory card that holds my first play-through of the game are some of my most precious possessions. Haha...

Agreed. I'll just wait to watch it free online like I did with the original movie ^^

So since I'm a rugged man I decided to download the thing though Pirate's Bay ( OHHHH YEAH I'M A REBEL ), so in a Twitter way, let explain what happened :

Downloaded it.

Played it.

Watched and skipped to see the «new parts».

Sighed in defeat as every character proceeded to make a semi-decent CGI movie for fans worse.

Deleted it.

What's so..innovative about this new version? Seriously, it's just FFVII:AC with some scenes with awkward pausing and really dry dry DRY acting. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to look at something that just isn't the same but with adding of 30 minutes glued in the most cheapest way , only to fall down into pieces , meanwhile Cloud rears himself to pick them up.

For angst part.... I swear, this movie has more black nail polish depth then Gothic DVD poem open-mic night. I didn't know it could be that dark. In a pansy way. ( HUR HUR HUR. )
