From Final Fantasy Tactics, the group that Ramza started out in were called the "Hokuten", and before they corrected the translation, I thought it was called the Death Corps, but it was a mistranslation, that they meant to call the group a "death corps" and not the actually meaning of the name. Either way, I've been stuck with it.

What do you mean stuck with it? You've changed your name a few times......

It means Freakazoid? Lol.

Does anyone remember that cartoon? I use to watch it all the time growing up, then forgot about it. However, a few weeks ago I ran across an old picture of the show....then well few searchs later I got a new avatar and name change. =)

Before that I used 'Wolfheart'. That came from an NPC in the game WoW.

It's more a commentary on life. Of course at the time I came up with it, I was very into samurai.

Anyway there seems to be a loss of "Bushido" in today's world. No code of honor or ethic.

I agree with the code up until, I have to spill my guts out when I fail at something.

I used Nee because it's fun to say, and also my real name is Renee so it sounds close.
I added sama because my husband used to always tease me for liking Naruto so much. The whole, "it's a cartoon and I can't believe you are sooo into that at your age!" and such. So I felt like more of a ~sama than a ~chan.

Really, I though you took nee-sama out of Bleach. Since Rukia calls her 'brother' nee-sama (or is it ni-sama?)

Ni-sama if you're saying brother, onee-sama if you're saying sister, I think.

I think it all depends. There are alot of diffrent ways to use suffixes so it depends on the context, but it's always (O)nii-___ for brother and (O)nee-___ for sister.

My username was partly based after an older name I use to "Omen Wulf". The other part came from a fighting move off KOF.

Since I changed my name I'll say what it means.

The "Cupcake" stands for my love for cupcakes and the "chan" is so that no one ever thinks I'm a guy... again *stares and Dark*

Dunno how I missed this...

No extraordinary story about my user name, though I've had it forever. It's actually a combination of two previous ones.

My first online name that I used for forums and the like (I've been on the internet for about 11 years now, since I was 15) was 'Infinity Paradox'. I used it for a long time. If it was too long, I'd usually do one of those shortening style things like xInfinityx or whatever.

Then I started playing the Star Wars Galaxies MMO, and your character could actually have a first and last name. So I wanted to name mine Infinity Paradox, but I couldn't. Infinity was already taken as both a first and a last name. But Paradox was still available as a first name.

So I put Paradox in as the first name and did a random name generator for the last name, just because I was curious what it would come up with. After a few clicks, it gave me 'Jast'. That seemed fairly unique, so I called my character 'Paradox Jast'. Nowadays if I ever need to shorten it, but still remain unique, I go with 'Jasticus'. Or if Krisk was still around, I'd be getting called Joxstrap or Joxy-kun. dry.gif

The nice thing about this user name is that its relatively unique, so I don't have to worry about doing the x's to get the name I want on forums and stuff. tongue.gif

I've also been using it for a looooooong time. Taking into consideration that I played SWG almost from launch, so... May-June-ish 2002. I've been using this name for nearly 8 years.

"I heart donuts"...kinda obvious why I chose it tongue.gif
"I heart donuts" says: Doughnuts can be radio-active, just look at Homer Simpson. He eats donuts even though he works in a Nuclear Power Plant.
"Homer" says: So??? I'm still alive...
"I heart donuts" says: But you're a cartoon
"Homer" says: Your point is...
"I heart donuts" says: -.-
