Putting the ladybug in that part of the ending wasn't necessary but the animators purposely did it to show Sakura smiling to it. The way I see it the ladybug connected Naruto to Sakura. Otherwise, would've just shown Sakura smiling at Konahamaru and his group while completely omitting the ladybug in that particular scene, but that wasn't the case.

It could be argued either way with the ladybug, but in the end its just an ED guys - even if its just meant to symbolize good luck and has nothing to do with the whole "going to your true love when released" theory, we still have Sakura blushing/smiling and reaching out her hands to cup Naruto's face, who looks like he's leaning into it. That's plenty on its own.

Agree with Paptala, ladybug means hope and naruto's will/determination, when it lands on random ninjas in the end i can only htink that it's naruto inspiring the ninjas that are on the war.
sakura "hugging" naruto in the ending is just because she wants to stay with him, naruto's face after it is because of his "burden".

But this ending was very confusing cant understand why everyone was blushing.

When I saw three pages, I figured some NS had to happen in the ending. Otherwise this episode probably wouldn't have gotten many posts.

As for the actual episode, I remember not liking the fight in the manga. Nothing really changed in the anime. And some of the wonky drawing didn't help. I think my problem was while Kinkaku and Ginkaku were interesting villains, we really didn't know anything about Darui, so it is hard for him to carry a storyline. Then Samui, who we also know little about, and her one chapter brother show up out of nowhere. It is hard to care about them. At least with the anime, we already knew Samui was part of Darui's division. Next episode looks much better.


As for the ending? Beyond the obvious NS parts, my favorite were the Ino-Shika-Cho cards with Asuma's knife and Chiyo trying to get Gaara to smile. Just a nice little touch. And man, the anime likes Matsuri. Not only do they give her added screentime, but now she is in an ending. She is the Hinata of Suna.

I know this is out of nowhere, but I find it odd how Naruto tried to hug Sakura in the previous opening, and now Sakura is trying to hug Naruto in this ending. It's like a huge "just **** already!" being thrown at us.

If by raging you mean appropriately gushing over the blatant fan service, while keeping in mind that its not canon, then yea.

I bet if it was Hinata the one raising her arms to hug and kiss Naruto in that ending they'll be having a field trip like us too.

Then I would respond with "Sakura raising BOTH of her arms and gently grasping where Naruto's face appears isn't romantic? Do brothers and Sisters do that then? Besides If Hinata did that Wouldn't you shriek and jump up and down like a maniac? And speaking of which why isn't another female character doing that to Naruto then if it was NOT ROMANTIC? Why was it Sakura, And not Hinata then, like you NH fans want or Tsunade, or any other girl in the series, if it's not romantic? If it's not romantic with Sakura it's not romantic with anyone, no? So I think it's a cute and sweet NS moment. If you think other wise then explain how it would be different with Hinata or any other girl/woman in the series for that matter, besides the fact it's not Sakura."

No I meant NH fans. You know breathing fire, bombing buildings and sending death threats to Kishimoto. (exaggerating here but you get the idea)
