Do you have any source to what you just said?

He doesn't need one, just go watch RtN. I actualy consider the movie canon because it was writen by Kishimoto.

So I was looking back at this volume (so far), and notice something interesting about it's length. Since it starts at 680, this chapter would have to be the 9th in the volume. Which would normally mean we are in the climax/ shift to the next focus. But the volume is still centered around Obito despite being the climax.  If you recall Volume 66 focused on Team 7 as The New Sanin, and the climax/end shifted to Obito becoming the jubbi's jinchuriki.  #67 focused on Naruto, Minato, and Obito as The Jinchuriki, and the climax/end shifts to directly to The World Tree. #68  focused on TNJ on Obito and the climax/end shifts to Madara being fully revived. #69 dealt with trying to Save Naruto & Sasuke, and the climax/ end shifted to Guy using The Eighth Gate of Death. #70 was focused on The Sage of Six Paths, and the climax/end shifts to The Madara's Defeat/Emergence of Kaguya.

 What's my point?

When you look at this volume it's centered around Obito's Farewell, and it still feels that way. Even though he is dead Obito is still a focus after his death in 687. So my question is are we already in the climax of the volume, or are we gonna get the climax of the volume in the next chapter or after next chapter?

Now here is what I find interesting about this Volume's length (so far):

Chapter 680: 16 Pages

Chapter 681: 18 Pages

Chapter 682: 16 Pages

Chapter 683: 18 Pages

Chapter 684: 17 Pages

Chapter 685: 18 Pages

Chapter 686: 19 Pages

Chapter 687: 18 Pages

Chapter 688: 16 Pages

The total number is equal to 156 pages for the volume so far.

What's more: This volume has already covered 9 chapters, and normally it's ten chapters per volume. Until recently with #69 & #70 where it's been 11 chapters instead.

I guess the two question I have is:

Will this volume have 11 chapters like the previous two?

Have there been any past volumes below 190+ pages?

They may be sound like stupid questions, but I'm just curious right now because this volume does seem short. Along with the fact that we might be in the climax of this volume.

I believe that's the case and you did it well to describe your point. Yes, I believe the last climax is in fact the recent chapter because not only Obito is in his old self, metaphorically describing him as the best of him, but he wants to help Kakashi one last time as both wants to do their best to save the world, which includes Obito. It's like the ultimate opposite of his dark intention.

So yes, you can say this is the real climax. That said it is possible to see the next step of the next volume within the next chapter, so we must likely going to see Hokages very soon.
