Remember, regardless of your interpretation of whether or not Sakura's confession was honest, I'm writing a story through a character's perspective. I completely agree that Sakura's intentions were pure, but Sakura still tried to use Naruto's feelings for her to get him to do what she wanted (and that was to let her protect him), and if you're Naruto, that really sucks. Please don't disregard the second part of the paragraph, where he is acknowledging that he actually understands her intentions and everything she was willing to do just to protect him.
