The first episode that show Hinata is filler, that episode is based on the first chapter of the manga. Hinata is not in the manga up until chunin exam arc.

Naruto truly love sakura. The same could be said with the other 12 years old character, be it sakura, Hinata, ino, and even lee. The different is that only two of them are main characters.

The highest point of naruto love sakura is near the end of part 1 aka poal and the hospital scene.

Then I would chalk this up as "Needs more explanation". This definitely comes off as different and they could have made that more clearer. I'm not against Kurama not being able to stop this one personally, and it's not hard to weave a written reason for it that's satisfactory.

I don't really care about relative strength in what Universe can destroy more. Personally, I like more relatable strength levels that are human. It's why I'm not a huge fan of meta-humans with extraordinary power, or even DBZ.

And naruto goes full db in war arc.

The lasts is not write by kishi, it only get canon acknowledgement from kishi.

There are only two movie where kishi directly involve and that are road to ninja which is not canon and burito movie which is canon.

The one who make nh canon is kishi but that because how much sp influence him. Sp love Hinata so much that they make a 30 minute special episode in pein arc regarding her confession. So kishi doesn't have the backbone like oda and easily influence.

Nope, it still nh movie therefor it's a Hinata movie. Have you ever seen a series about side character wedding? Not even mc married another mc ever get animated. Hinata is special to sp that's why it get a movie in order to make explanation about nh because kishi romance is one side love triangle (naruto->sakura->sasuke) or a gay couple(narutoxsasuke).

Like I said in other thread, the last have the greatest animation because the amounts of time it has while road to ninja is pretty much a rush movie.

The last will not be the last naruto movie featuring naruto as the mc because nostalgia.
The same reason goku can't retire As db mc.

And the last is nh movie or movie precisely a Hinata movie. This is sp love leter to their idol.

The author still need to show it because this is that kind of manga who has a training arc in order to gain new power or some sort of flashback.

In gaiden, sakura is surprise that salad could perform super punch. It show that sakura doesn't teach her.

The movie make naruto an emotionally retard guy by making him can't differentiate between confession and love for food. He can't oblivious when hinata make a love confession, he should know that Hinata is in love him and he may or may not answer her confession.
And naruto can't understand about love when he can tell that sakura lie with her confession and when he aware when to confess to sakura and ask his mother love life. So it's a retard move In order to justifies naruto not answering Hinata suciadal confession.

My point is ino is better (fan)girl than sakura in universes wise but uzumaki always has a hot for strong boy/girl that's why he love sakura
She's in team 7 in order to make one side love triangle.

She doesn't drained chakra, that thing happen in order to make dramatic romantic scene(the transferring red scarft from Hinata to naruto).

Perfect jinchuriki genjutsu immunity already establish in sasuke vs killer bee. So it already long time ago, 5-6 years before the movie.

Kage bushin is a plot hole that should not happen especially when the movie is consider canon. But yeah I'm aware that they will just simply hand wave it.

It take two years to produce, more than average naruto movie that take one year to make or even less (road to ninja). And it also explain the quality of the animation.

I don't remember in any chapter explained that Hinata has lightning affinity ...   not that i care. Why are these kids already start as genius and powerful at the early episode , and they are still in the academy , not even gennin yet. Reading your review/summary of each episode , i didn't see much struggle or hard training , no progress (or maybe it's just me). It's like they rushing , and the kids just got serve luxurious food on a silver plate without working for it. Unless they try to expand it even further to Dragon Ball style , to other planet , godlike enemies ... then yeah ...

Bail know it from the latest databook and that's also where we know sakura elemental affinity, water and earth. Why don't just make her a senju and make her capable to do wood release.

That's actually shonen next gen syndrome. Almost all next gen character seem to be much more powerful than their previous generation like gohan, goten, & trunks from db, the mc kid from shaman king, kenshin son from samurai x, and ichigo son to name few example.

Kishi should show how they can learn it in the first place because this is that kind of manga.

And then the fact that naruto capable to do kage bushin at academy days is butchering establish canon fact.

On top of that naruto love sakura because he want to one up sasuke when there's no evidence in the manga and even if that true then why don't he go to ino which more beautiful and has more than sakura who is just your ordinary fan girl?

That doesn't mention Hinata sudden amnesia to walk on wall, naruto perfect jinchuriki genjutsu immunity and how the kitten sakura capable to become immune to genjutsu that genjutsu a perfect jinchuriki.

This movie is canon and it take two years to make it as that's the best thing they can do?
Heck a rush naruto movie (road to ninja) do better than that.

The last has supreme animation quality though.

This is a children's show, so the predictable elements/lack of death is to be expected, especially since Boruto isn't as dark as Naruto. You aren't going to get the payoff you are looking for because the show is not providing that kind of pay off, but a warmer kind. A child would be satisfied, and the show successfully does that with its pay-off.
 
This arc wasn't bad, it had an iffy start but the latter half of episodes were rather well done, if you keep the general audience in mind.
 
I don't think they are doing enough at all to suggest that Boruto is different from Naruto. Quite a few of the next-gen children suffer this problem, though I will give that there are notable attempts done.
 
The Arc as a whole was 7/10, there were a couple of episodes certainly below 5/10, but there are some 9/10 episodes in this arc.

I agree that this is children show, but that doesn't make this a great children show.

It's a standard actually, not bad and not good either.

This arc is filler, since the canon version is the manga. Some of the filler Element may get canonized.

They will not become different because there's no reason to make something different when the mc is pretty much the clone of the previous mc.

I really doubt that picture is drawn in 1998.
Naruto first publication in weekly shonen jump is in November 1999.
So he draw it in 2000 or after it.

While I can see the claim that Hinata is supposed to be the heroine, I think the chance for that to happen is really low.
That's the claim from Hinata fan who come from the art that show Hinata with civilian cloth.
They think something like that because they thought Hinata would make a better heroine than sakura simply because her love for naruto and her hyuga heritage.

The problem is kishi never brought it up during the making of naruto manga.
The first character he created is naruto, third hokage, kakashi, sakura, and sasuke. Heck even character like minato is only create as silhouette rather than the final design. Oh and the apperance of chouji father in chapter 1 but there are no hyuga at all.

So I don't think kishi ever intend to make Hinata as heroine because if she's, she will be the first character to appear and not in chunin exams arc.

In the war, she mostly talked only when Neji died in 615 where it was the longest while of her talking in the entire franchise.
 
If you compare Sumire's amount of talk to Hinata's amount of talk, Sumire is the one who wins. And that is still in the beginning of Boruto series.

Hinata like character usually become a villain or else they will just a love interest who only matter for a while. Ex. Sakura mato from fate stay night.

That's why a "sakura" like character is usually the one who become the heroine of anime/manga.

In other word, Hinata will never become heroine no matter what her fan insist that she should be the heroine instead sakura.

Why you should read/watch onepiece?

I think they use that interview to prove that Hinata supposed to be the heroine from the start and not sakura.

It doesn't make any sense when sakura is pretty much the staple heroine and female character in this manga, including Hinata herself. Heck even the new heroine is pretty much the uchiha version of herself.


Personally I will much more agree if sasuke is the heroine
