Most likely two kids, one boy and one girl because Kishi himself has two kids and he draws heavy inspiration of Naruto's family based on his own. Me personally speaking, One boy and twin girls.

I have heard of a fan made character that is the daughter of NS, and that is Natsumi Uzumaki.

 

(wish I could show you an image but I cant seem to find one that the rules will allow)

 

from what I understand she is the female version of Naruto. what is her chakra nature? well Naruto and sakura have the same natures (Wind/Water)... so its most likely Wind/Water. if there IIS going to be an act III (witch I doubt there will be for a while unfortinatly) She might be one of the main characters if not then the lead.

 

What I like about this one fan made character is how many adaptations here are of her. as in how she is drawn and made. 

 

 

so I think that their first born will be a female, I do think they will have a lot of children just not sure what gender.

Really? I always figured it would be two or three. Maybe even one, but I want both genders. x3

 

I don't know what is normal in Japan, but the families in this manga have max 2 children. But this is fiction, authors use this to avoid unnecessary side characters as well. : p

For the currrent era Madara I belive had 3-4 brothers while Hashirama had three.

So is it true Kishi confirmed Naruto would have a son by the end?

 

I mean if he does get together with Sakura at the end I can't really imagine we won't see s small scene/picture frame of them with a family or at the very least a scene with a pregnant Sakura (parallel to Kushina's debut in the manga when Jiraiya was having that flashback)

4-5 at most then, I say. Enough to keep things lively but not enough to drive them crazy!!  Besides, judging on their very similar personalities, we can expect that much.
