Maybe. I hope this movie Kishi confirms the pairing.

Was it any of these?

physical and emotional abuse is definitely the right way to woo women!

this is completely sarcastic btw.

Well the manga has erased the idea that actions have consequences from existence all throughout part 2. He's ahead of the game on that one, why stop now?

lol @ this thread.

One thing I've noticed since I started watching/reading Naruto is the community focus too much on what the females want, while completely disregarding what the males want.

Lets focus not only what Hinata and Sakura have done for Naruto/Sasuke, but also focus on what they've done in response to these things (or what they haven't done).

Sasuke has done absolutely nothing to reciprocate Sakura's feelings

From early in the manga, Naruto has thought Hinata was a weird girl and like Sasuke, has not reciprocate Hinata's feelings (and has been unaware of them for most of the manga up until the Pain arc).

In both pairings, the interest has never been there from the males characters.

I've said this before, but for Naruto to answer Hinata's feelings, then he needs to address his feelings towards Sakura, which means a confession and a rejection. Not Sakura confessing, Naruto confessing. At this point it is too late for this to happen without it looking rushed and crap.

It would take YEARS of reconditioning for Sasuke to see Sakura in a romantic light. You also can't erase 3 attempts at Sakura's life.

Maybe I am giving Kishimoto too much credit with how he's showcased the big three. But based on information we've gotten, Naruto is more likely to hook up with Sakura than with Hinata. Sasuke, probably nobody.

It's indisputable that Naruto doesn't love Hinata. He's never loved her, not like how he's loved Sakura. This a cold hard fact. Hinata is in the same league as someone as Kiba or Shino in Naruto's book. She's not special to him in a romantic way, never spent significant amount of time with him, and the pairing has not progressed to the point where it should be taken seriously. She does not mesh well with Naruto's personality. That's the truth and anyone that thinks otherwise with the information we're given is deluding themselves.

Same deal with Sasuke. What's great about this one is he knows Sakura has feelings for him, he's known for ages, she even confessed to him and he still took off to chase power and get revenge with the enemy that tried to destroy their home. Upon their first meeting since then he made TWO attempts at her life. In both encounters she would have been dead if not for Orochimaru and Yamato. Fast forward to after the Pain arc, he made yet another attempt at her life in a cowardly manner, telling her to kill his other teammate and then attacking her from behind. Another attempt is made when she fails spectacularly to kill him with the poison kunai, only to be saved by Naruto. You cannot erase years of neglect, indifference and murder attempts with one chapter and make this pairing believable. People that think that are making the same mistakes of putting more emphasis on the feelings of one character over another, completely disregarding what they want. And yes the same can be said about Naruto liking Sakura, yet this has only been one aspect of his character which he has turned into a positive force and motivation. It is one goal out of many. It does not define his character nor has it negatively impacted him the way Sakura and Hinata's affection to the two boys have impacted them. This is the truth.

Sakura's attraction to Sasuke has held her back and made her look like a joke for the entirety of this manga. In every scene they've been present in her character has been shat on constantly and it's been driven that Sasuke is a negative aspect of her life that she needs to move on from going foward. Hinata's character has revolved around her obsession with Naruto, that's all there is to her character, wanting Naruto and nothing else. This was reflected in her dream in the infinite tsukiyomi. There is nothing else to say about her character. She is nothing but pairing fodder. She knows nothing of Naruto nor has she ever really been shown to support his dream. She has even doubted his abilities as a ninja, when in those scenes Sakura (and Kakashi) have remained confident in his skills as a ninja.

I am sorry but this needs to be said because supporters of both pairings do nothing but waste their time typing up LAPs looking for things that aren't there. Step back for a minute and actually look at what Kishimoto has presented and developed these relationships without bias. Naruto has no interest in Hinata, Sasuke has no interest in Sakura and Sakura has had no interest in Naruto but that has gradually been changing and was hinted at that she may start to harbour feelings of a romantic nature. Does NaruHina / SasuSake have that privilege? NOPE. Do both pairings have the wealth of development NaruSaku has had? NOPE. Does Naruto / Sasuke love Hinata / Sakura? NOPE. Has Naruto / Sasuke, given what we've seen in the manga, shown any interest in taking things further with both girls (only speaking about NaruHina/SasuSaku)? NOPE. Do all four characters compliment eachother perfectly (again, only speaking about NaruHina/SasuSaku)? NOPE. Lastly, has Kishimoto remained consistent with Naruto's attraction towards Sakura? YES. Does Naruto give up? NOPE.

If in the unlikely chance, given what we've been fed by Kishimoto, that NaruHina / SasuSaku happens, then what it will show is that Kishimoto never really gave a kitten about his own story. It will be nothing but an asspull to appease both supporters, when development pointed to NaruSaku as being the endgame pairing. Panels and parallels gone to waste and your own story shat on.

kitten me.

The inevitable truth with the information provided is that as pairings, NaruHina and SasuSaku cannot hold candle to NaruSaku and NaruSaku is hinted as the endgame pairing for the story.

I will be using this post as my go-to reference post for NaruSaku from now on. Thank you.
