I've been having trouble hitting the mark as read buttons on my tablet using the mobile interface. I was able to solve this problem myself using stylish by resizing the icons to 1cmx1cm, though the icons look kinda bad at that size.
I don't know if any others were having this problem, but if they are, you might try starting with a larger image and scaling it down with css depending on the size of the screen.
I love my 7" tablet, but I do find that it's sometimes in the awkward position of being just slightly too large for a mobile website yet still too small for desktop sites.
