''I know Naruhina will happen, because out of everyone, Naruto's perspective on Hinata has grown the most positive...''
I actually don't remember much about what this person said, but I remember their argument. At first I thought it was a good argument, Naruto has grown to respect Hinata and has even commented her on her strength. But as I thought about, nearly EVERYONE else's perspective of Naruto has changed throughout the series, ESPECIALLY Sakura's. I'll even argue that Hinata's perspective on Naruto has change the LEAST out of all the characters, because unlike most of the other supporting characters, she already had respect for Naruto when they were little. But she still acts the same around him, she is still shy around him. She doesn't think of him differently, what change about her is that she is now more confident about herself.
"I have a friend, who's Naruhina fan too, who takes a Japanese class, and says that looking into each other's eyes is romantic in Japan.''
Well looking into each other's eyes is pretty romantic in most cultures, including the west, but thank you for having a friend to confirmed that for us. I don't know much about Japan's culture, so I don't know if this is true or not. But what I found out about Japanese culture is that any physical contact with anyone else means a lot more to them, then it does for us in the west. That includes handshakes, holding hands (yes, Hinata wants to hold Naruto's hand, I believe she wants to get together with him) and, of course, hugs. Sakura has hug Naruto not once, but twice, and while the second hug can be argued against (as it was a part of her infamous confession), the first hug still happen. It wasn't a normal friendly hug either, she place her arms over his shoulders and pulled his head closer to her own head. I've also heard the way she hugged him is similar to how wives hug their husbands when they get back from war, and I say a picture of a women hugging a soldier in a VERY similar fashion that Sakura hugged Naruto (no, I don't know where I found that picture). But the only problem with the picture I saw was that it was an AMERICAN women and soldier, so unless it's a global thing, that hug, I don't really have any real confirmation that it is true or not. But I at least looked this up, and while I'm not expert on this, I can say that one IMPLIED romantic scene between Naruto and Hinata does not equal to the amount of IMPLIED romantic scenes that happen between Naruto and Sakura.
''Looking into each other's eyes is not something that two people who barely know each other will do. Obviously this is done between two close friends, so the argument that Naruto barely knows Hinata is invalid."
I agree with this person. Even though we barely see them together, I blame mostly Kishi for not properly establishing Naruto and Hinata's friendship. Though really all this argument did was convince me that Naruto and Hinata are, indeed, close friends. And do mean CLOSE friends (not romantically). This is probably one of the best argument's I've seen that defended Naruhina' which is pretty sad, because I bet you their are some people on this forum who could still argue against that.
Now these are the arguments that just pissed me off.
''If Naruto gets with Sakura, then Kishi would be the worst writer ever and it will be a total ass pull. The main character getting with the main heroine, how boring and predictable.''
I don't know what was his reason why he thought Narusaku will be a total ass pull, because I stopped reading his comment after reading this part. To me, it doesn't matter if it's predictable or not (though personally I didn't see Naruto getting with Sakura in the beginning, but a lot of you guys did), all it matters is how it's handled. To me, showing the growing evolution between a girl and a boy, who she originally hated, is really well told, and has been done with a lot of subtlety. Even if you don't see the romantic implications, their overall bond has been developed so well, that you wouldn't believe how they originally acted to each other. The person who commented this could've meant that CURRENTLY if Narusaku happen it will be an ass pull, because, you know, there is a war, and we have only seen Naruto talk with Hinata (which provided, in my opinion, the only thing that has provided us anything CLOSE to a mutual moment between them). But my first argument still stands, and the new movie may(will) provide us much needed Naruto and Sakura interactions.
''I've heard that Kishi felt like he failed at romance in Part 1, so he wants to have more focus on romance in Part 2. You can tell in Part 2 that he's been focusing his time with Naruto and Hinata's relationship....''
...and then I punched him in the face. I didn't really, in fact that person who commented this seem pretty neutral and wasn't even being rude or mean. That comment was answering a question on yahoo.......three years ago........when Hinata confessed. Wow, I seem like an ass now, don't I? It's just I don't understand how people see that Naruto and Hinata are growing this 'romantic' bond despite what little we actually see them together. I just don't understand how people completely miss some of the OBVIOUS Narusaku implications (God, I use that word a lot), like Sakura blushing and flirting with Naruto when they first meet in Part 2, Yamato's unfinished speech, the almost feeding scene, and, HELL, what about the PROMISE OF THE FREAKING LIFETIME. Just cause Hinata confessed her feelings to Naruto, doesn't mean that they will end up together, nor that is what the author meant when he said he wanted to add more romance. In that person's defense, they posted it sometime during Hinata's confession, so it was before Sakura's confession, and, possibly, her hug to Naruto. I'm just raging.
''If Narusaku happens, then it is because Sakura fell in love with what Naruto BECAME, not who he was. Hinata always loved Naruto for who he was.''
F#ck you*, it's called character development; Naruto has grown up and learned how to inspire those around him, while Sakura has also grown up, moving away from her childish crush on Sasuke, and has learned how to support her friends and village. Nuf' said.
*I mostly typed that in because that's how I really felt when I first read that. I could remove if it makes a big deal.

Of course that's if they DO end up together in the end.
We already seen them date, besides I really want to see their wedding and children. Perhaps, I wish Kishi draws a one-shot adult manga on a honeymoon lemon that takes place right after their wedding. The problem is that Viz might claim to have all rights to Naruto. I don't think Kishi could take Naruto manga to the Sienen Manga level.

oh there are very easy ways to getting around that. once the series is over if Kishi really feels like he wants to do something like that he could.

Kishi got flustered just from drawing Sakura in a bikini...

The problem with that is, at that point Naruto wouldn't know who Kushina is, and if the movie took place before the turtle island then Naruto wouldn't have called her the "Kyuubi's true form".
Plus I'm more interested in how NaruSaku will change the series.
Chances are that NS won't become canon until the last chapter so it probably won't change the series at all.

True, Kishi cherishes Sakura's character as if it was his own daughter so he won't make any provocative scenes with her, even in an unofficial manner. A proof of how much Kishi finds her character endearing is the Sakura keychain that he keeps in his work desk.
Let's leave those type of adult stories involving Naruto for talented doujinshi artists.

Well then what on earth is the point of NS if it isn't going to change anything? Is it just for the glorious satisfaction? (sarcasm)
I would like it to at least do SOMETHING. I hate it when characters or events don't do anything. Filler is a grand example. Sasuke just randomly decides to go finish his cat paw book. So what? What did that accomplish? Nothing at all! I seriously hope NS doesn't end up like that.

Shucks, I thought no one would notice that flaw.
Oh man, that's just too bad. I hope this does not effect his ability to draw a kissing scene between Naruto and Sakura.

I want more than just a kiss. This pairing war has been to big for just a kiss.

I agree, but I'll take it over nothing lol. Remember the NH/SS reaction to The Hug after the Pain fight? Didn't they send a bunch of letters and stuff to Kishi because of that?

Well that makes me think of an idea. Why don't we send Kishimoto pictures of what we want NaruSaku's kid/kids to look like?

I know, but some people here say that Kishi only sees Sakura as his daughter. God dammit!

Although I suspect the reason that Kishi gave into drawing her with that night wear was her wife since Sakura seems to be based on his wife. As Kishi explains why he wouldn't draw ecchi stuff on her because he feels uneasy since Sakura is literally his wife in the manga, his wife was touched... and pissed. Because she took it as an unintentional insult on his part and thus, she whipped some sense into him and convinced him to draw something like those nightwear.

Edit: I just owed a NH fan in under 15 minutes. They even admitted defeat, I hope this pays off very very well for us.

I come across a lot of these. There're desperate to protect their own pairing.
