It seems like the damage done by the confession has pretty much gone away. Although it leaves me wondering if Kishi will ever touch on it again, or simply just brush it under the table.
Maybe Naruto introducing Sakura as his girlfriend was Kishi's way of saying Naruto finally realized the truth. It's not like Sakura denied it. I'm inclined to agree with James on the NS moments. In this chapter, you have people saying they want to be by Naruto's side. To me, it looks like Sakura already is. Doesn't seem to be a need to say it out loud.
I'm expecting big things from a Tsunade + Sakura team. I don't think they're going to be needed for healing, because Naruto's chakra seems to be filling that role on it's own.
I appreciate the lack of Sasuke in this chapter. It's kind of his turn to watch Naruto's back and try to keep up. He will, of course, because Plot no Jutsu demands it, but still. I'm hoping he's looking at all this and realized it could have been him. With all his genius and potential, he could have been a true hero. Instead, while he's accepted in this fight, he knows his actions were vile.
Pumped up for Kakashi. I really hope he doesn't go down in this fight. Team 7 shouldn't lose it's leader after everything they've been through.
Looks like Kishi is getting ready to get everyone involved, though. I'm not expecting this battle to end any time soon. My guess is around 5-6 more chapters before the fight with Madara.
