His getting beaten up was so unnecessary. What could he possibly have told them about Sasuke? He's a fire and lightning user? He has the same dojutsu that all strong Uchiha have? He can stab you in the lung with his hand?

 

It's really not inspiring to get beaten up over some generic "information I won't give you about my friend". It would be one thing if Sasuke was hiding somewhere and he knew where, but refused to tell anyone. Or if Sasuke had this great weakness that would instantly defeat him. He got his ass kicked for nothing.

 

It was like he was going out of his way to get beaten up just to show how much he loved Sasuke. Which is exactly what Kishimoto had in mind.

I agree. Exactly what info could he have said that common sense didn't already dictate? Besides, I use this manga panel a lot, but I still love how Sai tries to knock some sense into Naruto's potato head.    Falls on deaf ears though. 

 

Sai: " Sasuke has done nothing but hurt you"

 

Naruto: "I used to hate him. But Sasuke is my friend! We connected yay!

He was finally able to connect with him after a lot of effort. It's like the sunk cost fallacy. Sasuke is an investment he isn't willing to lose, even though he's already lost more than he could ever hope to gain. And he's not done losing!

It's basically like, what if Naruto's "love turned into hate" like an Uchiha? But I understand why you would hate it. There's no selfless desire for Sakura to be happy from Naruto. He's completely OOC. And I didn't mean to imply they'd eventually end up like ObiRin. They're over. It's just cynical, selfish and miserable.
 
I have a soft spot for dark Naruto.

Ok I skimread it right before going to sleep so I didn't see that.

I like dark Naruto when written well, but darkness and crying about being friendzoned isn't the same thing. I guess the bitterness counts for something but without stronger factors he came off as whiny and controlling to me.

After I slept on it, I decided to delete it. It didn't sound good to me anymore. He was too OOC. I'm writing a story now where instead of flipping his kitten and attacking Sakura, he just hardens his heart and becomes somewhat bitter and jaded, and later Sakura changes her mind and has a hard time of convincing him.

My favorite dark naruto story is perfectly imperfect love by swagosaurus. The premise is silly but the execution of the characters were great and the fic was really popular when it was ongoing.

Yeah, that's a great story. I loved the fact that all because Sakura made the decisions she did, not only did Sasuke end up dead, but Naruto didn't even feel anything when he did. That's delicious angst. It's too bad he never finished it.

Homer is actually trying to make amends with his family if/when he messes up. Look at the Simpsons movie where he so utterly screwed up that Marge left her ring and even taped over their wedding video with a message of how he never supported her despite she always supporting him...no matter how crazy it got. I don't know a stronger way of telling someone that the relationship is over.

And yet, he still was willing to go to the ends of the Earth to try and regain his marriage back...even if he failed...better to try and have a chance to succeed than to never try at all.

 

So what's everyone's guess for when Kishi pulls a Rowling and admits that it should have been NS as the final pairing?

It is very unlikely it will happen. Kishimoto doesn't care anymore and that is the true sad part. It doesn't matter if he admits NS was the intended or not. Heck, I bet you someone could rewrite the whole series and he wouldn't care anymore.

The man is tired of the series and wants to be freed from the nightmare he created.

Because Sakura is a good person. She does not hold her love of Sasuke above all other things that they do not have worth or meaning. She wished to help Naruto, even if she did not fully believe in his dream. This correlates with a lot of Sakura's actions. You're making Sakura out to be a rather flat character if you think Sasuke is the sole motivator of all things she does. 

What a stupid statement. Sakura was content with Sasuke even after he tried murdering her multiple times, Naruto multiple times, all of her friends and the entire world. Stop trying to lecture people on their grasp and understanding on topics that you yourself completely and utterly misconstrue.

 

Sakura is seriously not a Tsundere. These mathematicians might need to recalculate and reassess their formulas. 

Point and case to the above. Sakura is absolutely a Tsundere, and it's asinine to try and say otherwise.

Homer is a family guy, and he is no more violent than any woman with a temper in anime. I think people have a hard time grasping this sense of humour because he's a man. It's ok not to like it, but we must see it for what it is.

I'm just waiting for Kishimoto to reach his breaking point and make his exit. We know that he's sick of Naruto and wants it to end so he can begin his sci-fi manga (though at this point, he may be too mentally drained and emotionally frustrated to find motivation for it).

Thing is he should not doing any Manga dude sucks its as simple as that really, best thing for Kishi to do is never work on Manga again and leave it to his brother to do manga as we all know that he is a lot better than Kishi in many ways, Kishi is better to just stay as a editor or find another job maybe he can still draw, but he should never make a Manga again.
