Well, I do understand that some people are not totally happy with the chatroom, but Sakura Blossoms has already provided an excellent explanation on why we chose this new chatroom.
It is still early days, and many of us mods are busy people with our own jobs and other responsiblities in our lives, so I ask for your patience while we fix up the new room and experiment with its myriad of options.
I already have a list of fixes to make and test, and hopefully we'll make it a great chatroom. With the added benefit of a very stable H&E website!

plain and simple, the chat applet won't download for me.
I know it isn't an invisionchat problem, because I've tried similiar site chatrooms run using the same setup, and they all work fine, so it isn't anything on my end.

Common Since, users can't tell whos on the FC, people won't go on the FC. Meaning the ties that most of us hold are going to weaken because the easy way of communicating just went down the drain! 
Get the "Who is chatting" thing back up and people will start populating the FC again. But I know you guys already know this XD

You can click on the members' names on the bottom to see if people are in Live Chat. It's not nearly as efficient, but you can find out.
Or you can simply go in for a minute.
Seems like people are visiting the Live Chat anyway. There's been a decent crowd each time that I went in for part of the time at least.
We'll still be trying to get that "who's on" back up.

But I know you guys already know this XDAs Nick said, there always seem to be a good amount of people in LiveChat when we go in. And as has been mentioned twice now, you can see who is in the chat room by clicking on the Member button on the bottom of the main page. This will take you to the Viewing Online List page, and it will show you Chatting in live chat, for those members who are currently chatting in the chatroom.
Maybe we should just shut down the whole thing...we can't seem to please people with everything that we've tried to do so far...
