I don't see why not. Nomura has already had us play as more than one generation of Keyblade wielders, so playing as Sora's kid wouldn't be bad.
Light and Shadow are the only static creations of this universe.

Which world are you disappointed is not in the game? Mine is Lilo and Stitch. I thought it would be a good world to explore. It would make Sora remember his islands and I see him protecting Lilo from the Heartless.
