It's not impossible. He's spoiled important events via covers before. Sakura's seal could be used as an example, actually, given that the seal is still visible on the cover.
Personally, I want to see that Minato x Naruto; Light Kurama x Dark Kurama fist bump make the cover.

I prefer Sasuke's jelly on the cover that was more awesome part of the volume.

Haha that would be hillarious, not to be bashing, but imagine the SS fans looking at the cover for the next volume. They get this really bad feeling about what happens after looking it.

I get the feeling that when the big narusaku moment makes the pairing cannon, the cover will look similar to this.

It's been a while, but I wanted to let you guys know that I'll be sketching and designing fan arts of this current volume (69). So far it's been giving me several goosebumps since chapter 660. I know this cover won't out till late may or early June at best. I'll probably have them up either this weekend or after next chapter.
Remember these volume covers (for Volume 69) are just fan art, by me.

Ok, may I have a prediction?! Not so long ago, like 2 weeks since I first saw the chapter, this is what I wrote on my Tumblr
Imagine this volume being dedicated to Naruto’s and Sasuke’s save, having highlighting Sakura and Karin, like it already started and then the cover to be with them and the name of the volume to be: Heaven and Earth.
Since I saw this last chapter being as well, focused on the girls saving the boys, I'm calling it! Next one it will be like this, hah!
I got the Obito and Naruto and Minato one right. xd
Gotta get this also

I think the cover will have NS & SK and Gaara and shukaku since those are the primary relationships shown this volume maybe even Madara

The NS and SK are a definite yes for sure, but as far as Madara's appearance goes. Do you think it'll be his previous form, or do you think we'll get the back of him kinda like Volume 67 with Obito.
Also I'm almost done with my fanart design for this current Volume. Expect to see it Friday night.

Hmm, well we do know that Obito will be on the cover as well, so now we've only got two people to go off of. It's possible we could get Naruto and Obito confronting one another,and maybe as background there will be Young Obito with Rin.

What if it will be somewhat some Team 7/Minato cover?! Something that illustrates Obito and Naruto in different lights or dunno...
