You know, I don't think we even actually have one specific thread to talk about movies in general. So, this is the thread happy.gif

Just saw the trailer for the latest Harry Potter movie, and figured I'd share cause it does look epic =3

OMG Thank you so much for the trailer, I didn't know when it would come out happy.gif

I still can't believe that... --Click here to view--
The only thing that I'm not as excited to see is the corny ending...you know, Harry and co, older, with kids. I still can't believe that Harry and Genny are married facepalm.png. To me, this couple really came out without any solid development and I must be honest, it really piss me off.

Don't wanna start any Harry/Hermoine Harry/Ginny drama in this thread, but I do agree with you 100% on this.

I'm hoping to see the Avatar premiere tonight too....if my friends actually join me for once....or respond.... dry.gif
Anyway, that might just be epic enough for me to watch and ignore HarryxGinny, but eh.... I've moved away from Harry Potter since Book 6....

just for completeness sake it should be noted that Roger Ebert gave Air bender 1/2 a star total. according to him its another 3d mess like clash of the titans tacke don at the end 3d is never good. He also ranted abit about the casting.

still probably gonna see it and make my own mind up about it.

anyone have any suggestions for trippy movies to watch while high off meds? I've never had a chance to kill time as a vegetable while on meds. Or have meds in general. :|

ALSO got a list of scary movies I'll probably never see:
  • the curse
  • the poughkeepsie tapes
  • ichi the killer
  • ju-on
  • the grifter (google it)
  • suspiria
  • jacob's ladder
  • REC
  • guinea pig series (8)

lemme know how they are! i'm really curious about the Poughkeepsie Tapes and the Guinea Pig series.

oh and new PA2 trailer:

don't care what the next elitist claims. Yes, I thought the hype was overdone. I was bored, in fact, during the movie (I intentionally tried to scare myself to get my moneys' worth) but after. HOLY GOD. THAT NIGHT I DIDN'T SLEEP, HAD TO GO SLEEP WITH MY SISTER. My room is in a very similar position as Katie's room (top of the stairs) and it's also located beneath the attic's entrance. All night I kept on feeling breathing underneath my covers. I had to make sure my feet didn'thang out either. And my door was locked. I don't lock my door. Ever. hahahahaha what is my life. /cool story bro

Well, PA2 doesn't seem to be somethin' special either. I'll pass.

Um, I am gonna watch one of those scary movies and tell you how it was. Dunno which one I am gonna pick. Maybe the curse. The title is preparing me for a freakin' awesome frightening movie~.

I'm not thrilled with the casting of Avatar: The Last Airbender and I kinda suspect the reviews are well deserved - or at least not a total travesty - but I'll still be watching it when it comes out on DVD, maybe earlier if a friend is interested. What I'm really interested in seeing next is Toy Story 3.

The only thing I will agree about with Ebert is the 3D. It can look pretty cheap when added post production. Though it shouldn't bother me much. I will see it tomorrow afternoon, no midnight release at the imax here, since they just did one last night for some movie about Angsty Vampire teens

I'm going to have to wait until Saturday to see the Last Airbender, but I can't wait, even if the reviews are bad. I'm pretty much expecting to be disappointed anyway, since there's no way the movie can top the cartoon.

As for the Harry Potter movie, that looks awesome. Am I the only tard that doesn't know what it means that it'll be shown in 2 parts? Does that mean 2 movies? Or is it just so long that they're gonna give everybody an intermission? lol

PA2... reminds me of Blair Witch 2...

It ain't just Roger Ebert. The Last Airbender is taking a critical beating. The film's got a 4% rating at Rotten Tomatoes and a 21 at Metacritic.
