Not the one I want to see though lol but it is nice even though it was for comedy and lead to nowhere for now. On a more serious note it felt... anti-climatic overall. I don't feel as strongly as others regarding how the arc was handled but it felt a bit rushed with developments thrown in and concluded before they get to settle in and not to mention Noelle was sidelined once the fight with Megicula concluded and I have a problem with that if she is supposed to be of near equal importance to the story as Asta and Yuno

The latest chapter has come out and it looks like things are going to be absolutely insane moving forward.  Also, Black Clover is about to officially entered its final arc(whether it's of the manga itself or the first saga - as he outlined in a 2018 interview - is unclear), with Tabata taking a three-month break both for his health and to write out the manuscripts for said-arc. I honestly relieved to hear that since the man deserves all of the rest that he can get.

At least he is smart enough to take a break and plan things out. We have seen what constantly playing it by ear does.

Not to mention it is mentally exhausting. I believe I heard somewhere he had a mental breakdown some time ago. He should prioritize his health first and foremost as well  And boy do I hope he means first Saga just like I hope there will be a future serialization of MHA with the cast as pro heroes. I hope maybe there will be a Black clover part 2 with international conflicts with other continents outside of the four card suits kingdoms lol such as the BC universe's version of Japan that Yami came from lol  Also, Charlotte got her confession in. IT'S NOELLE'S TURN NEXT!!     Mimosa could have one too I guess but like I said I wasn't necessarily impressed with her secretly selfish thoughts a while back. Obviously, she did not act on them and she acknowledges her selfishness but it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It reminds me all too much of another "character", but I admit that Mimosa is miles ahead better

It could have taken as long as it liked as long as we got a proper resolution. But it didn't and we were strummed along for a half-baked tale of hypocrisy and lies

Well, it's not as morbid as

Lily turning out to be a demon working under Lucius as speculated, this is still a horrifying outcome. Especially since I can potentially see Lucius' exploiting this ability to turn Asta's friends and allies against him if he can so effortlessly reconfigure their souls.

I would definitely agree with that, and it shows that Tabata is really taking it up a notch with this final saga so far!

 

 

I mean with back to back chapters after the 3 month hiatus.

Yeah, though I commented myself I feel Lucius is underestimating humanity, just like Zagred underestimated them and elves in spite of his plans and as did Lucifero. I also get the impression Lucius fears Asta and Liebe due to their Anti-Magic, just as Lucifero was driven mad by the fact their power could hurt him and that he hated that "lowlies" could do that to him.

We also get a glimpse of what benefits Asta's future training will yield when he learns to master Ki.  I do wander if the Land of the Rising Sun's scroll system can be conjoined with the Grimoires to yield greater magic and more spell diversity for the user (s).
