Anyways, this was actually a nice little one-shot. I've always wanted these kinds of chapters in the Naruto series. A nice, simple heartwarming story on top of being hilarious to boot. And am definitely glad for a furo episode, most of all. I've always figured a furo/bath scene chapter would be hilarious. Too bad that there's not much that can be speculated for the movie from this.

And oh, Shino has a bug on his kitten!!?? oh, THE HORRORS!!! I'm gonna need to was that out of my brain.

the close-up to Minato's carving also makes me laugh because I can definitely see him laughing his ass off up there (or inside Naruto, wherever he is) because there was an incident like that in the past. Heh, I can definitely see that if there's a MinaKushi flashback, one of them would involve something like this.

Heh, I find it funny. Cute and bittersweet one-shot about Naruto and friends, complain about any perceived pairing slight pictured in 1 page not even part of the story in said one-shot.

Although, I agree, there really needs to be more scenes of the characters interacting like this. Maybe once the war ends or whatever, we can see some of those off-duty interactions.


Looking at the flipped side, it's fitting and hilarious that Rock Lee doesn't seem to have changed personalities. XD

Anyways, here's the flipped version of the upper side portion of the color page:

The story itself was pretty heartwarming with what Lee was trying to do for Naruto; he's such a good friend, especially with them showing up afterwards to hang out at his apartment.

No real pairing fan service in the actual one shot other than Hinata thinking Naruto's name -- it was mostly major Hinata fan service in the bah scene (poor Sakura - don't worry, you have plenty of good qualities - though even I have to admit not liking Hinata myself that Hinata looked really pretty this chapter).

The mirror cover is interesting to say the least - lol @ how supremely uncomfortable Naruto looks with Hinata hanging off of him; Sakura does look pretty content with Sasuke doing the same though - still, it just kind of is what it is you know?

Btw, does anyone know what it says on Sai's sign that's making Sakura look so angry? All I know how to read is 'so ko so ko' and the kanji i don't recognize...

If that's true, then I guess Naruto & Sakura will see him as a shining light of hope in the movie from all the madness .

Paptala, I think Sakura does look nervous. At first, I thought she was actually smiling at the prospect of this new Sasuke, but I took a double-take at her hands. It looks like she's wringing her hands nervously, so yeah I think she might be just as uncomfortable with AU!Sasuke as Naruto is to AU!Hinata.

Yeah, there really should be more chapters/scenes like this. Just have the K12 hang out like normal teenagers, except they're not normal teenagers they're ninjas but oh whatever!
