Not sure if there's an already existing thread about this or not. I search for one two or three times, so if I still missed anything I apologize.

 

Best AMVs in general. Doesn't have to be anime based.

There's already a NaruSaku AMV thread, so I'll just be posting my favorite AMVs (at least, the ones I can still find on Youtube) from OTHER anime, here (these are in whatever disorganized order they first appear in my bookmarks; many different anime, styles, levels of humor and\or drama.  In some cases, I picked them because the "music and the video fit perfectly," even if I don't like either the music or the anime behind them seperately; I have a particular fondness for AMVs which can really change the mood, such as making a very serious scene funny or, better yet, a very funny scene serious.  Er... enough of a disclaimer there?):

Oh my god, I remember this song! I used to love it to death, and always thought it would make a great Naruto AMV. I'm glad to see one was made after all. Thank you so much for posting this!

Not familiar with Pandora Hearts, but the song in that one is one of my favorites. And wow, I'm floored by the editing with the manga panels.

 

I know right? The editing is sooo gooooood! I've watched that PH MMV so many times I've lost count.

 

After looking further into my YouTube playlists, I've found several more great ones to share. I haven't actually seen any of the anime used in this AMV (I think the ones included are Clannad, Mushishi, and Angel Beats), but it's still powerful as hell, and the song is one of my absolute favorites:

 

 

And now for my favorite Fate/Zero AMVs that I've seen thus far. Starting with easily the most under-appreciated of the bunch, which is just plain breathtaking, especially if you're familiar with the central character:

I don't know if anybody has put it here yet, but I remember seeing this AMAZING amv in the debate thread with the song "According to You" by Oranthi, kinda describing Sakura's relationship with Saskue and Naruto in Sakura's POV. It used manga scans, does anybody know where I can find it?

Here are a few of my favorite AMVs...the first one is a short and simple NaruSaku AMV, but I love it:
