If she ended up with Sasuke I would just be mad at Kishi. I wouldn't even be mad at Sakura. My reason being, if it were up to Sakura's character herself, OBVIOUSLY she'd go for Naruto. However, if Kishi were to interfere and decide that she loves Sasuke, then it wouldn't actually be Sakura because it's so OOC. It'd be Kishi messing Sakura up and having her do something her character wouldn't actually do. You get what I'm saying?

She can sleep with Sasuke and she'll still be my queen. I always said that I would trade NS becoming canon in a heartbeat for more Sakura moments. I never liked Sakura because of NS. I liked Sakura because of Sakura. And you need to realize that Sakura will never stop caring about Sasuke no matter how much sense it doesn't make, and that goes double for Naruto.

 

 

I'm more of a Sakura fan than anything else.

although i was an SS fan before, after the story progress and i tried to reread everything without my biased pairing glasses,

I realized that Naruto, aside from being the best man for Sakura, is also the most logical to be the end couple.

but that is a different story.

 

 

anyway, to answer this thread OP, YES I will still like Sakura.

i agree completely. At the end of the day when all said is done we have to realise that we're not writing the manga and we don't get to decide what happens in the end and alot of people in the opposing fandoms take it way out of context when it comes to this type of thing. and hey... there is some of us NS fans who've had our moments .

It's kinda fun finding out who on this board only like Sakura for NaruSaku.

I'm gonna be honest, I never really liked Sakura all that much... She was a pretty one-dimensional character before (a girl with a crush) Her maturing is really the part that got me liking her. Sasuke is her immature side - when she's not fangirling about Sasuke, or letting him get in the way of her vision, she's much more mature. And I really started liking how much development she started getting. In her abilities, in her experience... I really like that. But to have a character like that latch on to a guy that she crushed on when she was 12, and the one guy that I still consider the immature part of her whole being? That's disappointing. I could always blame Kishi, but Kishi made Sakura the way he did.

 

Sakura's made plenty of bad choices throughout the series, and that's okay. Everyone does risky things, when their emotions are in a jumble - but if Sakura makes the choice herself to want to be with Sasuke, she's just gonna end up unhappy. It's a matter of her choice, her maturity. If she makes the choice to not be with Sasuke that's good. She doesn't have to be with Naruto to make that choice. And up until now I'd still like to see her really make that choice.

 

I guess I'm not a "true" fan of Sakura, but liking NaruSaku and liking Sakura both went differently for me. I really have come to like the development of Sakura's character. NaruSaku is like the cherry on top for that.

i like the sakura that started truley caring, and falling for naruto...the one with a brain,a heart, and was on her way to be a kick butt ninja lol. i hate the ditzy heartless sasuke fangirl kishi, and SP turned her into.

The Sakura I liked was the one that was evolving into a powerful woman. I was looking forward to see her admit her love for Naruto, see him finally confess his love for her in return, as well as achieve her goals in her life as a shinobi and a medic. 

 

The Sakura I like simply never materialized.

 

It's not as if we can choose between two courses of her life: there's one where she developed into who she wanted to be, and the one we got in which her development simply stopped. She became the plot device to continue Sasuke's story and to create the progeny for the next series. Full stop.

 

The development didn't happen. Giving her stomach-baring tops and boobs, a dust rag and a working womb does not mean her character has evolved.

I still like Sakura, just not the Sakura in the ending and The Last.

To me, her getting over Sasuke was some part of the development I hoped to see. Because her crush on Sasuke was always portrayed as childish, and that she never let go of that seems to have been the biggest reason she had so many haters. That being the case, clearly I'm not the only one that felt that that crush came across as unrealistic and rather dumb. She didn't need to end up with Naruto, I just felt that her ending up with Sasuke was the opposite of character growth.
Of course there is more to what I hoped to see from Sakura than that (surpassing Tsunade, becoming the to medicnin, getting a legendary title along with Sasuke and Naruto), but that was probably a large part of it.

her character is great, and fanfiction can solve the issue of her throwing her development out for Sasuke.

Nope, in the end all those time I defended her were a waste. All her haters were proven right thanks to kishi. It's really disappointing.
