I agree that the game should be remade, if Sony was smart, they would do it, they'd have new people by the PS3 console just to buy and play that game. On a side note, I've heard rumblings on FFVII: AC complete for quite some time, it just surprised me how long they waited to release it, too bad it's only in Japan, I don't have a region free player. US shores may never get it or won't get it for some time I'm thinking. I'll get it, I didnt waste my money on the Special edition with Last order and Post cards boxed in.... cause I knew this would come out eventually. Plus they have some scenes from Last Order in CGI too. My wait starts.

On a side note, anyone ever know what happened to the proposed FFX movie? Although it wouldn't make as much sense, since they already had a sequel to the game.

I think the Blu-Ray edition's region code is the same as the US's.

I'm not sure, but Wikipedia has a Blu-Ray region code map...

Japan is the same as Canada and US, so PS3/Blu-Ray player owners, import your hearts out. (If you can afford the shipping costs)

Well I never played VII, so might check it out if it was replayed.

As for the FFX movie? was that talk from before X-2 came out or was this recent.

I can't say for sure they'd make it a PS3 exclusive, if ever a Playstation exclusive. From the last press release they had regarding FFXIII, it seemed to me like they were going to move to multi-platform from now on. As much as I'm sure Sony would love it if they did, one game does not a console make. Helps, sure, but Sony was waaaay behind for waaay to long with the PS3 to bother with a resurgence now. Better to wait for next gen in 2010, 2011.

That said, I'm doing a headdesk imitation right now. Seriously, shell out another 20 bucks for an extra 30 minutes? They're pulling a Disney on us.

SE is busy with FFXIII and VSXIII, so until both release there's no chance for a remake.

part of the reason they havent made a remake or true sequel to wrap it up, is because they want to keep milking it, for example the FFVII PS3 sold instantly in Japan, i wouldnt stop cashing in on this if i were them.

its about maximizing profits, so multiplatform is the way to go. and japanese devlopers have been upset over the fact that their games dont sell well in the west, so theyll do whatever they can to make some $$$. thrid party exclusives are pretty much dead.

Advent Children Complete is NOT Advent Children.

That was my reaction upon finishing the movie, I first had some skepticism like some other members posted in Sakura's thread, when I heard that It was coming out, I pretty much thought "Oh, same movie with some added scenes." and of course being the square slut that I am I ordered it. Boy was I wrong; everything in this movie is different. Has anyone else seen it? Plz discuss
