The only ones I'm really looking to watch are Dance in the Vampire Bund, Durarara, and perhaps Katanagatari, since it's from the writer of Bakemonogatari.

Oh, and Qwaser and Chu-bra for the fap material? *snicker* tongue.gif

Nothing that really piques my interest this winter... *shrug*

Perhaps Spring 2011 Anime will be better.

  • Interests:My interests? Well, I do enjoy most manga and anime, but I think that's a given. I also enjoy comic books and videogames, so I guess I'm kinda geeky there. But hey, I do other stuff. I like to go out and party, but I do not like drinks served in a femvase (damn fruity stuff... ew), so good ol' beer is my mate. So yeah, I'm also a psychology student, so your mind interests me.

Durarara! looks to be promising. I freaking loved Baccano! but thanks to Japan's kitten taste in anime, it won't get a second season. This looks like good compensation.

Nothing else interests me at the moment. I'll see whatever is the consensual favorite anime of /a/

Also Chu-bra? Jesus Christ Japan. Never change, just never change. :True:

I might give So-ra-no-wo-to a try. The art and character designs remind me of K-ON; same studio, probably. I might check out the first episode of Dance in the Vampire Bund to see where it's going. There's a lot of paths that a vampire-based story could take these days. XD Durarara looks interesting too. I was going to consider Qwaser of Stigmata too, but the bit about breast milk stumped me. >.> Might have a look at the first episode to determine what it's about.

I have to agree with Cloud though. This season's anime doesn't seem to stand out. Hope next year's releases are more interesting. happy.gif

Quaesar strikes me as a D.Gray-man rip-off.

Haven't really looked at the Winter line-up until now.

Dance in the Vampire Bund and Durarara!!! are the only ones I'm interested in this season.

I'll give So-Ra-No-Wo-To a try (since everyone else seems excited for it), but its K-On! character design resemblance doesn't give me a great feeling. Omamori Himari I'll see if the anime can pique my interest since I never really got all that far into the manga. I'll be checking out Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu as well, since from what I remember, the manga was somewhat interesting... but there must have been some reason I stopped reading it early on. Seikon no Qwaser was a nice action manga, so I'll give that a shot as well... but it wasn't a series I particularly enjoyed.

It's actually the first series being done by a new studio whose goal is to make original anime (i.e. anime not based on manga/games/novels). They're trying to take advantage of the moe boom (moe = guaranteed success... it seems)... and what better way to do so than by using character designs from one of the most moeblob titles...

It... really isn't. Totally different.

-----------

I was really quite surprised to hear last month that there were only going to be 16 new series airing this winter. I fear for the anime industry.
Pretty bored.

Omamori Himari and Seikon no Qwaser got my attention. The mangas are epic, I wonder how the anime will be...

I didn't realize we have Dance in the Vampire Bund translated into English at work, the first 5 volumes. It's actually rather good.

I love this series! Anyone who does music should see this. I usually don't get into full on fan-girl mode now-a-days, but this definitely deserves it!

So omamori finally gets its anime...sleep.gif. Haha. The manga was good, of what i read anyways, which was about 20 chaps i think. Looking forward to Vampire Bund.

Other than that, not really exciting year...

was hoping for another Ghost in the Shell season or Black Lagoon especially(well then again its a direct to home kind of thing...so its pretty good i guess)...but still...heh.

2011 man! Lol
