I got to check out the site for a bit. It's the same place where the art contest submissions are sent, so it's pretty much done in the same manner. I wonder if this means that they'll actually publish, at the very least, some of the messages that they receive? Maybe it's like the movie website, and they'll create a separate page wherein they'll publish some or all comments gradually. Hmmm... This is interesting, indeed.

It might happen. It's possible that the equivalent of the gentle face touch in the OVA for will be a confession/realization along those lines, since it very much seems to still be open.

A direct kiss most likely wont happen after a confession. Think about it, we've never even seen Minato/Kushina kiss.

 

Just forehead kisses like Tsunade does.

Here's the thing: With all the teases for actual kissing that we've had (I count at least 4.), which all happen to involve Naruto's character, I think it's very much a possibility. Remember, don't mention/do something in a story, unless you intend to follow up on it. I don't think it'll happen in a setting where others are present, so it may be after the war. But, yeah, I believe it's possible.

Are you talking about kisses in the manga or anime? The only near kisses I remember are the bench scene.    I'm probably mistaken. The anime however had lots of harem fillers..... sigh.

Absolutely, and that's why I'm really interested in this. He really is a phenomenal storyteller who knows how to wrap even the littlest of things up, especially the thematic material.

 

I'm strictly speaking about the manga, since that's the material with which I'm more familiar and I take it more seriously as canon material. To be honest, I'm so behind the anime material and legitimately only place importance on the manga. Meh. I'll catch up on the anime later.

 

The other scenes that come to mind are:

 

1-The accidental NaruSasu moment, which obviously impacted Sakura and Naruto. It just opens up the possibility for this, I think. 

2- Naruto talking to Yagura, during the Bijuu/Jinchuuriki hangout in the middle of the war. He went on about he feels for the poor kid, since he wasn't ever able to kiss a girl, which Kurama hilariously shot down by reminding him of his lack of fortune in the romance department. XD

3- The CPR scene. It's still that kind of contact and has a deeper emotional meaning for Sakura. Plus, there's a huge thing about lip-on-lip contact in Japanese culture, if I'm not mistaken, that even applies to accidental/indirect kisses, which kind of also makes CPR a bit of an intimate act. Somebody brought in a panel from Nisekoi that also seemed to imply that, and it seems to be the basis of many a joke in quite a few series that are more focused on romance, which makes me think that even the slightest touch can bear importance. Obviously, this is somewhat speculative, since I'm by no means an expert on Japanese culture. 

 

There are probably other moments that I'm missing, but these come to mind rather quickly. Of course, I suppose that any talk about a committed relationship, especially marriage, also brings up that possibility, by default. 

 

Ugh! Tell me about it! I really hate those kinds of episodes. Blech!

This has probably been said a million times before but am I the only who just loves the fact that the Byakugo seal is still on Sakura's forehead semi-permanently like Tsunade's now? Around the time it was first revealed I was caught up in quite a few battle/feat debates about her new strength, with the most popular of those debates being Hinata vs Sakura. Now ofcourse I know Sakura would win even before the seal given databook stats but people used to always argue how Sakura's Byakugo was a once-in-three years deal, much to my dismay as I'd always stress how it would remain there semi-permanently. I just love the fact that it's still there even with her chakra drained in the manga. Not that any of that matters now since Kishi went made it fodder with Godruto's and Kamisuke's OOTB uberh4x powerups.

Lol, I debated with some people as well and always closed their mouths by showing them the manga panel where it proves Tsunade didn't have it back when she was in the Sannins team bc Orochimaru didn't knew about it and she even says to him that she has been gathering chakra in that point for some time now, but it was never explained HOW MUCH time and then with Sakura acquiring it, we found it. So then bam, I always closed them.
