Looks like another fighting game is having a LIVE-action movie...

Who will be in it? Looks like Hollywood did some background info on the series correctly, except for one minor issue with one female character...

*insert fanboy comment here* Did I... did I see Holly Marie Combs added in the cast? "Piper" is playing Michelle Chang?!

And "Shang Tsung" is playing Heihachi?! I wonder how he will play the father of the crazy Mishima legacy...*end comment*

So they're actually...making it!

Every now and then, I heard rumors about the Tekken movie and couldn't help be curious... wondering exactly who would be who and if EVERYONE was going to be in it. Just thinking who might take the role of Nina, Anna or Christie (if they're all featured in this movie) has me on thin ice. By doing background information on the actual series, there might as well be a slither of hope - I guess.

But, "Piper' as Michelle Chang?! I have to get the actual image in my head before I start freaking out. I mean, I loved Holly Marie Combs in Charmed, but this has to grow a bit on me. XD

This... is going to be something else. :O

To be honest I can see him doing the role and pulling it off with no problem. He's a pretty decent actor in those evil overlord type roles. Not to mention he actually knows Martial Arts.

Welp. I'm putting this movie down as a failure, but it's just me.

Looked at the director's movie career...

Most of them were box office bombs, or only just sold a bit better. But he has directed Prison Break and 24...

I have to say it right now people, but so far this looks preatty decent...

Plot looks fine (I can really understand the reason of changing the timeline to the future) lots of char are making an appearance, not to mantion the fact they including the Devil Gene plot.

And most importent of all, the protagonist of the film is the protagonist of the game! unlike ceartin other movies (Get it stright! not Guile, not Chun li, RYU is the hero!)

But I keep my expectations low, seeing that there never really wasn't a great video game film.

Luke Goss who's playing Steve Fox is stuck as a Boxer? Have you seen him in Blade 2 and Hellboy 2? Guy's acrobatic....

Its easy to just see another game movie and think fail but I wont do it until we get more on it. Right now it looks ok. I like Go-go as ling.



And this movie has been slated to come out for a good while now actually.

I am calling it now. This movie will fail like Street Fighter, Dragonball Evolution, and the multitude of other game to movie ideas. For some reason, the people who do the story and cast don't actually play the games.
