Just thought this was pretty funny. :teehee:
It seems like China will be dedicating a whole shopping center to fake brands.
Just thought it was pretty interesting..

Wow, that's really something, huh? Think anyone's actually going to shop in that place?

Oh, probably a lot of people will be shopping there, at least once just for kicks. Not is it a good laugh, but I bet "Bucksstar" is cheaper and still tastes the same as Starbucks.

China is famous with the copy-cat items. Now stores and merchandises...

ph, I'm sure many people will shop there. mostly people from south east Asia like Indonesia and the surrounding countries. They are sucker to cheap prices, and most of the don't even give a damn if the brands are fake.

I think it's just them saying "We can do knockoffs better then anyone else in this world"
and Knockoffs are usually cheaper and poorer in quaility compaired to the real thing? But I know that some asains prefer the cheaper 'fakebrand' stuff, how else could I explain my pile of knockoff Bleach Volumes?

Whoa. Talk about... What you people called it? Intellectual property infringement? But that's how China can pull through during this crisis.

China are a pro at making fake items. From a bag of Versace to Hugo Boss and most of them are good quality, not as good as the original but good enough to feel similar to the original. Its not infringement, as they also put different brand to the item like "Boss" into "Bos" or Versace to "Verace" its not illegal, not ever the original can complain about it because the brand is different, thus they can't prove that its an infringement to their product although they KNOW that its so.
Why would people buy the fake items? simple, they can't afford the real one. many people in developing countries are having problem financially, most of them are medium to low income people. Therefore buying fake ones are enough for them to "pretend" that they are classier than they actually are. Most developing countries people could careless if the items are fake as long as its good to use and look classy, I dunno why, they just don't.
