There was an interview that someone posted some pages back and it showed Sakuras voice actress speaking her lines in the movie that took place before she charged at Menma and got caught. When she was done with her line, people cheered. I was assuming what Sakura gave a small speech because of the determined look in her face before she charges to fight.

It's the lesson she have to learn. It amazes me that Kishi continues to hurt SS. I don't know why it amazes me. Probably because the mangaka don't usually throw it in your face. I guess it was this case for Kishi.

Yes, I do like Sakura's bravery. I really wish we can see her fight to protect Naruto. Man, teamwork! I want to see it bad!



UUGGHHH! Imagine if Sakura didn't take her parents for granted and that she cared about Naruto in a heavy intimate way and brought Naruto over to her house for dinners and such. Imagine if Naruto was close to Sakuras parents. This movie gave me such fanficion ideas and thoughts for the future if Naruto and Sakura were together.

Kishimoto....did you do that on purpose?

Exactly. wink.gif Because Sakura throws in the "Sasuke would understand me" and we get the introduction of Sakuras parents, that's a slap in Sakuras face saying "no, Sasuke wouldn't understand you" (imo) and that she takes her parents for granted. There is a bigger lesson on Sakuras part than Narutos. Naruto is just reminded that he does have family even if they are not blood related. Sakura actually learns what it is like to be in Narutos shoes without parents, something she never went through or could comprehend until the movie. Not to mention Naruto never blamed his parents so he doesn't have much to actually learn from the movie except enjoy a small moment in a family setting but heads back to the reality of things.

....then the way she just runs and jumps at Menma while giving a speech and Naruto watches from the sidelines...*shivers*...so....awesome.

I love when Naruto yells "Sakura-Chan". It's so cute. wub.gif

Goes to show that everyone there acknowledges that it had romantic implications and also how it parallels Minato and Kushina, the badass couple of the previous generation. People that express distaste for the parallels in Naruto are just annoyed at how much it makes sense. Parallels that portray the potential of the next generation are used in a lot of fictional works, but it only bothers people in this case because it means that it is inevitable that Naruto and Sakura become the badass couple of the current generation.

That looks like a funny SS fanart. It seems Sasuke is annoyed that Naruto and Itachi are getting all the attention from Sakura, as if his inferiority complex toward those two wasn't bad enough. 111189.gif


I don't want to put a damper on things but that is not necessarily true. Most of the drawing reviews of RTN (on Pixiv at least) do not draw that portion of the movie (Naruto holding Sakura bridal style). You are only seeing a small handfull. Go to the Road to Ninja Tag and see some of the drawings yourself if you have the spare time. biggrin.gif

That is also true but they mention on their profile about SasuSaku being their preferred pairing and they only drew SasuSaku. Probably open minded to other pairings but have a preference. That's how I am but opposite. I am also a SasuSaku fan but NaruSaku is my preferred choice. Ever get me to draw SasuSaku, that would be a miracle.
