Sorry for the late update but apparently I was out-of-tune with SC5 because of various reasons and new updates before release date, which is almost near.

Well, we have new characters, many are old from previous versions and ALOT of Mokujin/Edgemaster characters that will shock the fans here. However, I heard that Create-A-Soul is well expanded, which is only the good thing about this sequel. And there aren't any extras like a museum or art gallery...

And for those who may tell won't get the game, I will put these:

The following characters returned:

Siegfried, Mitsurugi, Hilde, Maxi, Ivy, Raphael, Tira, Voldo, Cervantes, Argol, Nightmare, Lizardman (now using his real name, Aeon) and Edgemaster; Astraroth and Yoshimitsu are like "the new King and Kuma". Both are successors of the first ones.

Storywise on others: Sophitia and Kilik are the "bosses", possessed by Soul Edge. They both in terms of gameplay are Mokujin/Inferno-type characters. Taki is alive and well but is currently on a mission in the West, mentioned in Natsu's storyline. Cassandra is also alive. So is Xianghua (who has some drama... which I will reveal some details in a second)...

New characters are:

Patroklos, Pyrrha, Natsu, Z.W.E.I., Viola, Leixia, and Xiba.

(Notes: two of the new characters AREN'T actually new per say, in terms of story (Guess who?). And for Kilik x Xianghua fans... THERE IS an illegiment child from the two! -knew it!!!- And it isn't Leixia... its.....

Also Sophie's kids both have a different form, they even have a slot on the select screen . Alpha Patroklos is basically Setsuka (whom apparently disappeared after 4) in terms of gameplay. Omega Pyrrha is Soul Edge-controlled with Sophitia and Cassandra's movesets.

It appears to be fake. I found this out after I posted, which I totally forgot to edit. But that's only for that part and some others. The only stuff that are true are Patrokros and Pyrrha's alternative forms and Kilik being one of the final bosses. The other boss is Elysium, who look like Sophitia in Pat's eyes during the Story mode.

Other than that, Story mode itself from what I heard is a lackluster . It only followed Sophitia's kids and result of them battle each other at the end. No mention of others like Mitsurugi and the other new characters like Natsu and Xiba (although ZWEI had a major role).

The game is good in terms of gameplay and especially its up-to-date Create a Soul Mode. The downsides are the story and lacking in modes for the game. And still no sign or information on what happened with previous characters such as Seung Mina, Talim and Zasalamel.

Xiba is their son (Leixia is his step-sister), who inherited the Evil energy from Kilik. Xianghua finally met her long-lost father, Kong from Edgemaster. For those who don't know about the history, it was said from her mother that Kong was "dead" and plus Xianghua doesn't know she has a sister who has a sibling relationship with Kilik before SC1 events. Kong was also Seung Mina's teacher as he taught her Ling-Sheng Su Rod during 1. Kong takes Xiba and sworn to protect him.

Li Long: WHERE is he in all of this? --Click here to view--

Li Long, the original nunchuku master from Soul Edge/Blade is actually alive and currently living with the newly established Fu-Ma ninja clan. As part of the original storyline, he has a lover named Chie, who is very best friends with Taki, and they have a son. Chie is the new leader of the clan and is the foster mother of Natsu. While not a powerful fighter like Taki due to her gentle personality, Chie has very powerful spiritual energy.

Rothion went away to search for his wife after hearing she went missing. 2 years later, he passed away due to illness. Sophitia's brother, Lucius, took over the bakery business (after the father passed away when he found out about his daughter(s) went missing) and was mad at his brother-in-law for keeping the secret about Sophitia's disapperance. He later taught Patroklos the bakery business.

There is a relationship chart, I will explain that later.

There is some stuff about Taki, she still look the same from the sketches. It gave her some info about her position in the clan and her relationship with Natsu.

There is also something happening between Yoshimitsu and Cervantes with Kilik passing through. As for this fight: Mitsurugi Vs. Setsuka:
