Grotesque monsters known as Impurities reside in Magano, a realm parallel to the present day. Exorcists purify these evil apparitions to protect the people. Rokuro Enmado is opposed to becoming an exorcist, even though he has the talent to be one, but an oracle gives him the title of "Twin Star Exorcist," the name bestowed upon married exorcists. Benio Adashino, the girl who receives the title along with Rokuro, is determined to exorcise all the Kegare, or Impurities, in the world. The two find themselves wrapped up in more and more battles together as the Twin Star Exorcists...

Anyway this  manga/anime caught my interest a couple of weeks ago as I came across it because it was called by fans as a "rival" to Boku no Hero Academia since their animes started on the same week. I read the first few chapters and thought it was pretty interesting and it quickly became a new favourite!  And if you can't tell from the synopsis, there is a pretty hilarious romance subplot as well. So anyone interested? if you are not already a fan?  

 

P.S. UNFORTUNATELY, guess which studio is making it's anime?

That aside though I do enjoy the anime and unlike "that piece of kitten" the mangaka for this series Yoshiaki Sukeno gives them feed back and his own ideas for the anime at least. but as much as I really like this series, I ain't giving stupid clown my money

Just started reading the manga, like it so far. Probably won't watch the anime because I heard it gets away from the manga and also because it's made by Pierrot

Just caught up to the manga, loved it. Really, really good manga. Can't wait to see more.

Oh that's good. As for the Anime, I hear a lot of criticisms about it being cliche. I say well whatever the manga is so much better and what do you expect from a series animated by Pedo-clown

Mhm, cute couple right? BTW I'm wouldn't be surprised if they gave Mayura "special Treatment"

 

To be clear I really like Mayura's character (and hope she becomes a couple with Shimon) But I fear Pedo clown will objectify her like they did with Hinakittens. They don't give me reason to think otherwise

I can't wait to see when Benio makes it to the island. Don't really care much about Mayura, don't mind her at all though. I doubt Pierrot will screw too much with her specifically. She isn't the same character as Hinata.

I watched the last episode of the anime and well I gotta say. It kind of sucked not that I expected better  of course, but ther was no resolution in that ending. Not even with Rokurou and Benio married it just felt empty and bland.
