Posted by since i saw two posts' reflection, or looking back on the naruto series. i decided to review the naruto characters'! these are my opinion.when i get into anime i seem to be the analyzer, "how can i relate with the characters'", "what can i learn from this series", ect...ANY WAY! let's start with the big three! team 7!
but, seeing how iruka [his first ADULT bond] treated him to ramen, and realized naruto wasn't a bad kid after all, and naruto started to chill out a little realizing maybe not Everyone's bad.iruka, and the audience reading/watching learns naruto's dream is to be hokage, he wants to be like the fourth hokage who was the hero of the village [unknowingly wanting to follow in his own father's footsteps], naruto then showed a more sunshiny personality instead of his "i don't care" one, and becomes the ramen eating knucklehead we all know, and loved...well, knew but I'll get to THAT later...on his team was the teacher/sensei kakashi hatake, what naruto DIDN'T know was kakashi was the fourth hokage's student!, also on naruto's team were the girl he liked a lot named sakura who like him just wanted to fit in, and sasuke uchiha, naruto was a little jealous because sasuke had a cool "I'm better than you" act about him acting like...well, a know it all,
naruto did want to one-up sasuke but, in being a ninja. i believe naruto did see sasuke as a rival until the waves arc, i think they formed a brotherly bond the kind of bond where they're like "i hate you sometimes...but, i wont let anything happen to you",that's when naruto learned about friendship bond, i think he learned a lot of things' on that trip about bonds', they all three did! naruto's then met jiraiya [unknowing it was the fourth hokage's sensei at one time!...i think someone was trying to tell naruto something LOL]
naruto's nindo is to never give up but, i believe the number one thing that kept him from giving up was his love for sakura, this was shown during gaara's invasion arc! how far naruto would go to protect her! then during the sasuke retrieval mission when sakura was in tears begging naruto to bring sasuke back to the village naruto held back his own emotions, put on a big smile, thumbs up, and gave her the promise of a lifetime!,
showing he actually cared about sakura's happiness more than his own, and was willing to do whatever it took to make her happy...and i think the only thing that made naruto want to never give up on sasuke was when sasuke called him his best friend. well, that seals it! naruto's gonna try to not only bring sakura's crush back to the village but, save his best friend from darkness while he's at it!, i think he took that as sasuke's cry for help LOL. aw what a true friend naruto is. anyways, then timeskip! naruto comes back to konoha after the 2 year journey with pervy sage [LOL] to master sage mode!
his love for sakura grows even deeper while his wanting to save his friend grows stronger! but, as we can tell naruto, and sakura grow closer, and they get a new teammate named sai, and a new sensei named yamato who can control the tailed beast due to naruto's weakening seal [i can think of a good story line for that! oops missed opportunity!]. well, naruto realizes the truth that when the host looses his bijuu the host dies! they go save gaara, chiyo revives gaara, and naruto realizes that he can't save everyone! [this would have made a good time to develop and realize he might not can save sasuke! oops missed opportunity!] by the time the pein arc rolled around, naruto almost gave up while fighting the pein clone but, guess who he got to meet!? minato [the fourth hokage]...his father! he also realized nagato was an uzumaki [THERE! perfect time to learn more about the namikaze/uzumaki clan, AND for naruto to become hokage, now that he saved the village! everyone sees him as a hero, his dreams could have all come true then, and there!...oops missed opportunity!].i give naruto's character a 7/10! up next...sakura
well, when sasuke came around, and was the "cool new kid" that ALL the girls' liked sakura grew out her hair, and decided ino was her rival because they both liked sasuke!, and then, and there sakura became sasuke's fangirl. she was thrilled to be on his team but, thought naruto would get in her way, and bug the heck out of her, and be obnoxious! that's why she didn't like naruto at first, the only time she saw him he was being kind of a brat. but, their training excersize [the bell test] sakura realizes naruto's not as bad as she thought, and was actually amazed at how strong he has become! "what's this feeling? this is naruto!",
she was still into sasuke but she would help naruto anyway she can., she also didn't want naruto getting himself hurt, or in trouble! in the chuunin exams she realized how much naruto's dream meant to him, and wanted to support him, and didn't want to see it crushed. she, and naruto both want the same thing...to be acknowledged by others!. sakura's "wake up call" was in the forest of death wen the sound ninja came to bully them, and naruto, sasuke, and lee were knocked out...and the girl[kin] was holding/pulling sakura's ponytail so, she made the choice to cut her own hair, grow up, and protect the three people who tried to help her!,
then ino's team, and lee's team come to help. but, that was a major development for sakura in my opinion. and it was the gaara invasion arc when sakura realized how far naruto would go to save her risking his own life, and the promise of a lifetime is when she realized naruto understood her more than anyone...how did he know [well, she unknowingly told him when he commented her forehead disguise as sasuke!]
then, when naruto comes back from TVOTE sakura asks lady tsunade if she would train her, hoping she would become more powerful, and then promised naruto they'll go, and save sasuke TOGETHER!, then after the timeskip sakura was HAPPY naruto was back, and she was flirting with him! [she even admits she kinda misses the old naruto...then he did the sexy jutsu in front of konohamaru, and his team LOL and made her mad],
whenever sai would say anything offense to, about, or towards naruto sakura would defend naruto, during the gaara rescue mission when she learned naruto would die if the bijuu was extracted she started to cry, but naruto assured her gaara would be fine, but when she tried to tell naruto it was HIM she was worried about he cut her off...not wanting her to think about it [he didn't like seeing her worry, or cry especially if it's over himself,]
I've seen how much sakura cares, and how fond she has grown towards naruto, and how attached she was, and protective over naruto she had become! the same girl who in part one would not have given him a time of day, now is the girl who will NOT leave him behind just cause her sensei told her so! yamato, and sai both saw sakura's love to naruto grow, and become deeper,it was obvious that sakura had fallen in love with naruto over the time he's been gone, and now he returned still oblivious that his dream girl's returning his feelings FINALLY! [somewhere between the bridge scene, and the pein arc left plenty of room to bring up the bench scene!...and love could have blossomed, and bloomed! oops missed opportunity!]
it was obvious when sai came along that sakura was over sasuke because her mind, and heart were all on naruto!..i give sakura's character 10/10! she was showing AMAZING progress! she could have been a sanin!, she could've been naruto's girlfriend!, she could have been so much more!...she didn't know true unconditional love until she met naruto!
oops missed opportunity! whoes next?...-sighs- okay fine...since he's apart of the team sasuke...HEY NO CHEERING! lol
he didn't seem to really have any specific plot...its like he was just created to be a plot device...as hilarious as it sounds he was the male version of a damsel of distress...the problem wasn't that he kept getting power ups', or taking the story from naruto the problem WAS they [kishi, SP, SJ]
rushed through the villans' to fast, and the only answer they knew was "let's make sasuke the villan" then it got weirder...lets face it it all didn't go down hill until the kage summit arc where SASUKE became the villan...see what happens when you rush things? you run out of characters'!. a plot with danzo would have been interesting to!, like why did he put a curse mark or whatever on the anbu? [or something like that he COULD have been the next orochimaru, and BOOM there's your new villan!...oops missed opportunity!].
that could also have been the straw that made sasuke realize that he needs to help naruto, and sakura defeat danzo...it could have been the hyuuga clan that danzo was planning the target and THAT could be hinata's "wake up call" to stop chasing after naruto, and protect her clan, and prove she CAN be an heiress,...something team 8, team 10, team gai, team 7, and the whole shinobi force could have done together instead of the whole reincarnation thing! oops missed opportunity! i give sasuke's character...1/10
team 7 could have had it ALL! naruto could have gone down in history maybe! a shounen with a romance subplot!...that sounds very rare! to me naruto, and the characters' were so relate-able, and could have been a series to remember i give the whole series...well, here's TWO versions' of the series review.
2-sakura could have become something like tsunade! she had so much potential she WAS becoming something more, maybe the next sanin! i honestly think she could have gotten to THAT level! giften in ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu...i think the inner sakura COULD HAVE been something like a subconscious spirit/astral being or something...like her higher self, or something. maybe that's what her own arc would have been about, her becoming more aware of her genjutsu, and psychic ability! she was able to defeat ino so, i'm guessing she has a similar mind-control or whatever jutsu.
3-sasuke could have been the anti hero gone good, like if danzo did become the villan, and sasuke learned more detail about orochimaru, like, maybe it could have been a twist, and it was danzo who was using orochimaru to destroy the uchiha clan, or something like that, and so he had to destroy the akatsuki from the inside...team taka could have helped with that, and in the end after the danzo arc is over, and naruto,
and everyone saved konoha together defeating danzo, and naruto also learning that they had help from sasuke, and everyone realizes that to end the cycle of hatred everyone must work TOGETHER not against each other just like kakashi sensei taught team 7 so long ago! something jiraiya's team, minato's team, and kakashi's team never understood but no matter how many times their sensei's [hiruzen, jiraiya, then minato] told them naruto's team[kakashi's students]...and his generation finally got it!.
what if it had ended like THAT!? i would have given the series a 10/10 for being inspiration ALL the way through!
, people lying to themselves, people lying to eachother an open ending so wide it can be seen from SPACE!, and nothing but caricatures
1-naruto becomes a scumbag, and is now one of the most hated anime characters' all those smiles, and caring about sakura-chan, selflessness, sunshiny personality? GONE.
2- sakura's nothing but a fangirl...WORSE than her part one self! S.P, S.J, and kishi sure made sure sakura was HATED forever they made her out to be nothing but a user...like she only used naruto to get him to bring sasuke back NO! the selflessness, the warm smiles, the independent kick butt genjutsu ninja she could've been?, GONE!
3- the sweet, selfless, warm and fuzzy narusaku bond that has been in development for 15 years? GONE! all because:
NaruHina brats- were jealous because naruto, and hinata never really spoke AT ALL during the series.
SasuSaku brats-were jealous because sakura MOVED ON FROM SASUKE, and found someone who cared about her and actually loved her., and sasuke never cared about her in that way!
in the end the HATERS won...and now, they're the only ones left of the fandom because:
the naruto fans' want to remember naruto as a ball of sunshine not see him become a scumbag!
the sakura fans' are tired of all the haters who hate on her ALL the time, and don't want to see her character trashed even further than she already is!
the other characters' fans', and fans' of the series just want to move on from the unrecognizable horror show that is nardo...or boruto whatever the corrupted brainwashed new fans' wanna call it now.
i give the series a big fat ZERO 0/10. wasted a perfectly good series...to the new fans: That's not kishimoto's NARUTO...Studio Pierrit's naruto is a whole other story entirely
