Ah, so the beginning of the manga then?

It was that entire arc that was before the Golden Age Arc. You know, where Guts meets Puck for the first time and searches for the egg-shaped Behelit and ends up fighting against the count. We get to see the five members of the God Hand for the time. At the end of the chapter, there's this girl Theresia who said she'll kill him for sure (even though he saved her).
It's chronologically after the Golden Age arc though. Miura just drew the manga in a way so that the Golden Age ended up being a flashback.

I forgot all about that, too, first, lol. When I was watching the anime, I didn't even notice they skipped that entire arc. It wasn't until I heard a few "ranting" about the first episode where I was like:" Oh... I remember now."

Has anyone watched the first episode of the anime?
As expected, people are completely enraged about the CGI. I'm surprisingly ok with it though... Yeah, definitely a good start. Can't wait to see the other arcs animated.

I've watched the two episodes, and personnaly, I think the CGI ruined the anime. In the movie, it wasn't that disturbing, since it was only used in "war" scenes, but here, it's just too much, especially when the manga is sooo well drawn. 

And the first episode was kind of weird: they mixed a lot of stories, and jumped directly to the arc in which he meets Farnese and Serpico (my love  ). 

I'm kind of disappointed... I was so looking forward to it, I thought the animation would be the same as the one in the movies, but unfortunately, it wasn't. 

 

Who have read the new chapter ? 

And what is your opinion guys about the arc post-eclipse (especially the fantasia one)  and the eclipse arc ? Do you think the manga is getting less interesting or do you think Miura is good at exploring different kinds of fantasy ?

Ok, I'm starting to question my position. I'm always under impression that people who reviews online and got all volumes have read them already. Turns out they haven't yet. It's like "Did I accidentally outclass myself?"

I'll be honest, I was caught in the middle of ego trip that thankfully, I quickly realized that I was just being egotistical. By that, I mean trying to out beat in collections and so on. But I realized why. When it comes to anime/manga, I only collect a really worthy one in anime/manga and figurines. That's it. No plushie. No hug pillow. Just your normal guy who happened to read/watch crapload of series.

So I feel like "Well, I seem to not fit in." Just be typical Naruto fan and everyone will like you. Very lame. Anyway, well, how long before the next chapter. Don't you dare take a break now...

Well, I really hope Casca will be back to her old self, the badass girl we all loved, but I expect her to react quite badly when she'll remember everything, but I guess the "king" won't accept this easily to heal her.

When I think about it, 1 chapter is not enough to wrap up it.
The reason is casca goes like that in order to escape reality. It's her defensive mechanism.

I think the next couple of chapters will have the revelation of the moon child and I belive it's their child who will play important role in casca healing and defeating Griffith.

I think one of the reason why post casca "hate" guts is he almost kill their baby. Notice how it parallel with gambino situation.

I never thought about it like that, since she was afraid the first time they saw each other after the eclipse, before the "baby's" incident. 

I thought that she was afraid after how Griffith treated her, and since Guts a guy too....
