#931831 new kishimoto interview 2017

I honestly had to make an account just to spill my guts cause I'm laughing/fuming so hard at this guy, because this is just blatant advertising to prop up a character and a story thats long been dulled out and overrated.

Sakura. She was the one that got me into this series. And this interview isn't even about NaruSaku, or any ships imo. This is an outright blow to Sakura that just ended her relevancy for good.

I'm a Sakura fan before a NaruSaku/Naruto fan. Do you know why? Because she WORKED for her power; all of it, raw. Left behind by her teammates for their own purposes, forgotten by her own sensei---because idk just maybe he got lost on the road of life for two straight years and couldn't even be bothered to care I just don't know---, she made up her own mind not only for the sake of friends, but to more importantly empower her Part 1 self. Tsunade didn't even offer Sakura an apprenticeship like Orochimaru and Jiraiya had; she instead had the cause and ambition to seek it out herself. This is what hooked me onto her for good.

She didn't come from a fancy ancient fairytale god-like clan/bloodline/whatever either that called for special notice. While Naruto and Sasuke blasted their way towards their goals and eventually to each other with their unholy powers that could obliterate the world with the snap of their fingers, Sakura paved her own roads with quiet consistency, while doing her best to keep their angst-ridden team together. She is wholesome, empathetic, curious, and most of all, humanizing. Sakura is a hero in her own right. I will never understand anyone who looks down on her.

She's such an unfortunate character. They wrote her so good in the early part of shippuden only to push her off a cliff just because people simply don't like her? (Advice: fix her, or rather add onto her if she has low popularity. Show them what she can do, don't just toss her if she doesn't work out. Your the writers; you breathe life into this now lifeless manga. Add an extra backstory to her, her own arc, her achievements and hardships throughout the years. Ffs something, anything.) It's just a shame that Hinata---with the personality of a pillow "shook the world" or whatever tf they claimed her to do---turned Sakura into her stepping stool, eventually broke apart Team Seven, and was one of the dominoing factors to ruin the series, is hailed like as if she actually did something benefical to anything at all. Two words: no thanks.

Anyways good luck. I hope you savor the feeling of your big wallet in your front pocket Kishimoto, because when bad writing sounds like poorly written fanfiction for the cost of just one character that you've continuously pushed down our throats, and then fanfiction ITSELF that teenagers conjured up in a week starts to make more sense than the **** you've dished out to us thus far, we've all lost.
