Naruto thanking Sakura-chan and Obito, aww!! How cute! And I like how he said, "Sasuke, did you thank Sakura-chan and Obito!?" he's like a mother telling her child to thank someone haha.

And kitten, yeah, expected Obito would die very soon... Gah. So I guess next chapter will be focused on him. I'm happy that he saved Kakashi ("just like that time..."). The whole thing of him saving Kakashi was so sweet. And he wants to spend some alone time with Rin. :') but, does this mean he can't leave his Sharingan to Kakashi? Because that technique like, disintegrates the target right?

Other than that it was a boring chapter. Not much else happened. Except for the Hokage showing up. I knew this was going to happen, them bein on the color pages! That's just what happened with 616 (Sasuke & co. showing up in the first few pages, the color ones, instead of the people who we left off on last chapter, plus team 7 on the center color, in some kind of AU).

At least the "SS moment" was completely skipped over. It had even less follow-up than the handhold! (though that catch was nothing compared to 615 tbh... so, it makes sense.)

Hope we find out more about the movie soon. That's what I'm interested in.

What was all that about Naruto ending in october? Is that true?

I don't think that was confirmed. What's only confirmed is that the next movie is the last movie. Maybe the Naruto manga is ending early 2015 since the movie will be out December 6.

Super disliked the color cover. A little disappointed with the chapter too because I thought that we might get some closure to what are Sakura's feelings.  

 

The only worse thing now is that Sasuke did say thanks to Sakura and kishi shows Sakura thinking about Sasuke catching her and finally thanking her while blushing. Seriously, when will kishi give closure to how sakura feels so that I can just stop thinking about whether Naruto gets to be happy with Sakura or he will lose to Sasuke again like always.

LOl, you know what SS fans will say? "It was off-screen-scene, there will be a flashback in which Sasuke is thanking Sakura and kissing her in front of Obito." Especially because Naruto asked "Sasuke, did you thanked Sakura-chan AND Obito?" but SS fans will only see "Did you thanked Sakura-chan?"

Obviously not, because, at least according to the logic of SS and NH, parallels don't exist. We NS obviously looked too deeply into the manga, and make up these so called parallels, even when the manga has clearly portrayed as it is. That is why everyone hates us, due to the fact we rely too much on non-existing parallels and not on proofs or development brought to us from the manga itslef, except the times we do.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FYI, I am kidding.

 

Parallels may not exist(they do, every writer uses it) but they can't ignore the shining anvils in their face. Jiraiya/Tsunade, Kushina/Minato, Obito/Rin ALL have the same relationship and manga stereotype as Naruto and Sakura. Like there's nothing you can do to counter. That is a fact.

Well I guess 685 was for SS what 615 was for NH, in the grand scheme of things  .

 

Poor Obito  , but at least he will be with Rin now.

 

I like how worried Sakura was about Naruto, and Rin's spirit helping Obito and Kakashi.

 

For some reason I really liked Naruto asking if Sasuke thanked Sakura and Obito, I kinda got the feeling it was like Naruto was dealing with a five year old, but then again, how much of a difference is there between Sasuke and a five year old?

 

Anyway, I can't wait for next week.

Excellent chapter. Its always nice to see panels of Naruto being Naruto, smiling and being the adorable,mischievous person we all love.

So Kishi  reveals nothing on SS. I'm a little disappointed. He could have killed it, but seeing as he didn't go for building it, its a positive for NS.

The colour coverpage? meh.  Trolling the SS fanbase who were expecting a big moment.  He could have given that in the manga canon but gives in an AU world like cover.
