Yup!

Well, he IS insane and a good example of how hate can really twist a person..

And yet h adds to his sins while at least that Endeavor had tried to make things better even if he knew he couldn't fully do so, while Dabi continues to add up to his sins as if this will make him feel better in the end.

 

Besides...

I get the feeling even if there may be a death flag for Enji/Endeavor in this battle that it will lead later on for Shoto to want to find and kill Dabi/Touya or to bring him to justice. Since let's face it, as bad as Enji's sins are, Touya's are worse because he's killed people while working for the League of Villains, and do so much terrible stuff that he too has to take responsibility just as Enji does. He basically thinks everything he's done is all Enji's fault when he's chosen this path for himself just because of the bitterness in his heart as well as his anger.

 

What I said in my spoiler makes me think of DC's Infinite Crisis, and how many characters there, particularly villains like Deathstroke and Superboy-Prime, since in the case of the former, Slade had been working with the Secret Society, throwing away his code of honor out of desperation, and in the last issue of the 7-part mini-series when taking on Batman, Nightwing, and Robin (Tim Drake) in the Battle of Metropolis, kitten reveals how Slade lost his way due to the loss of his family, with Slade saying it was because of the heroes, with Tim retorting "You need to take some responsibility, Slade." before Bruce punches Slade down and goes "We ALL do.", due to the stupid crap he'd done leading up to Infinite Crisis because he too was angry, and that he couldn't bring himself to take responsibility for a while.

 

Dabi's the same way. At least for his sins, Enji/Endeavor has accepted responsibility for them. Dabi hasn't, and just wants to blame everyone else other than himself, even if he feels justified by it.

Deep down we knew it all along and yet I'm still surprised. The reveal was so so good. Endeavor deserves this

Yeah Karma finally catches up in a way it seems. Although While this IS what Endeavor had coming obviously, The fact of the matter is that the state and reputation of heroes is fragile as is. So having faith in the current No. 1 cumpletely wrecked is going to have very negative consequenceswith in society for sure. Hopefully we get to see how it unravels but the moral confilcts have ALWAYS been so good in this series lol
 
Well, on a side note EVERYONE that was kittening on Horikoshi and accusing him of redeeming and rewarding Endeavor for his abuse, plus getting him scot free of his actions CAN'T say that anymore.   SO THERE YOU GO. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I had to take a guess, I'd say we have at the very least 3-4 chapters to go for this arc to completely wrap up!

Hopefully at least hopefully it won't drag on for too long not that it is getting boring but you know audiences get irritated and and bored if one part of the story takes too long.

Well Dabi's true identity was kinda obvious after the hero arc, but this chapter did well with finally confirming it. I wonder how the rest of the siblings will react to their brother being alive and is the villain Dabi.

If he knew what Touya has done as Dabi, I could imagine Natsu even claiming he isn't their brother anymore. But that's just me thinking of that.

I believe the Endeavor fanboy was also in the chapter looking at Dabi's confession online, I wonder how he feels about his hero now that his past abuse of his family has come to light now. I'd except Fuyumi and Natsuo to be horrified at what their big brother has become and that he is trying to kill their little brother Shoto, though I feel at least Natsuo will blame their father for what has become Toya. I wonder if the mother is going to have a meltdown to find out that her eldest son is alive and is now the villain Dabi.

 

One thing I do think My Hero Academia has done better with revelation of Dabi's true identity over Naruto with Tobi's real identity being Obito is that Midoriya knows a bit about who Toya is when Dabi reveals he is him, as when Obito was reveled under the mask he didn't know anything about who he was excerpt for the brief summary Gai gave about being a former classmate of his and Kakashi and didn't any of the personal connections he had with Obito until after he beat him.

I have to agree. Horikoshi-sensei handled the drama and reveal better than Masashi's attempt with Obito being Tobi. This one had the drama and the best atmosphere for the reveal to "shock" audiences and have very good reasons why Touya/Dabi is like this. All we need is a flashback chapter (possibly this week).

 

But poor, poor, Natsuo. If he ever sees this, that poor guy will be devastated to see his older brother turned out like this.

The thing is Obito being the mask behind Tobi makes sense, it faltered heavily on execution! 

 

 

That is ultimately where the Dabi reveal is handles so much better.
