So the famous arc that turned me off from doing live reactions to My Hero since last year after it wrapped up has gotten a teaser... Well this should be interesting to say the least to experience in the anime.

What I look forward to the most with Season 5 is seeing how it's gonna be when Izuku does Black Whip in animation. I also suspect we could see the My Villain Academia arc being done too.

I'm actually really curious how anime onlies are gonna react to what happens with Deku since that revelations left a huge split when it happened in the manga.  

 

The pacing is the other thing I'm really curious about when i comes to the anime since the Joint Training Arc dragged itself out in the manga! 

 

My biggest anticipation comes with Meta Liberation because well Shigaraki!

I guess it depends on how they present it, plus it depends how similar or different the two fanbases are

What Im concerned about is that I read somewhere they will only adapt two major story arcs this time so I wonder if well stop at the meta liberation army arc. Or maybe at best the season ends with the Christmas chapter and the teaser for season 6 is when Shoto asks Izuku and Katsuki if they want to intern with Endeavor.

I could see that, but I feel like the cliffhanger will be the heroes disappearing basically chapter 257.

Well something to keep in mind is that the joint training arc was pretty short in the manga I think that arc will probdbly take up maybe 8-9 episodes maybe, and then episodes 10-21 on Metaliberstion army, and that would leave 22-25 on the Endevour Agency Arc.

So it could totally work, and remember the Pro Hero Arc only last 2 episodes in the anime versus the manga which was 10 chapters much like the Endevour Agency Arc.

I know, but that stuff could be blended in with the recap portion of Episode 1. 

 

Also the Dabi confrontation is only for a chapter (191). So they could use that as liked a prelude before the Season opening.

That could still be half an episode, since you have the initial skirmish, the Hawks meeting and the family dinner

Attack on Titan had a similar situation with Season 2 because they altered the season 1 finale a bit, and the anime while slightly altered tackled the manga content before the opening happened.

sometimes such moments are ignored in anime adaptataions, and it is especially prevalent if the narritive moments right before it is used as a "cliff hanger" for the next season. As I've observed anyway
