Oooo, a very good history lesson indeed.
I didn't even know that dial-up was invented only for news in the early 80s. Now that's something.

Indeed but I think the best part was $5 an hour ... so much for getting cheap information lol

It was created by the military in the 70s.

huh I thought it was the 60's but I know it was to connect all the military mainframes in case of nuclear attack.

actually... networking was developed for the military. dial-up came later if i recall correctly but i might just be playing around with words here

OH DEAR GOD. FLASHBACKS FROM DRIVING SCHOOL VIDEOS. HERE THEY ARE D:
D:!!!! i clicked back in a hurry when i saw the quality and the shag carpeting. D8
but then i saw this--
and i figured i should give it another shot. XD
and i did.
DARKICHAN. ME TOO. SPIFFY ONLY THO. |D
oh and i felt HAPPY for that newspaper vendor; he got to keep his job! It took 2 hours (WTF) and cost 5 bucks (OMGAD) for the morning paper over his 20 cents. BD
you go you old doode-- i hope you retired awesomely B3
